I have spent one week in nov 2016 in this village. The village is great, not too large (about 75 rooms), with two swimming pools and a large spa. Very good quality/price ratio. The beach is fine (nothing special). The restaurant is very good, you have always different choices at the buffet. There is also a second restaurant with service,... More

This has got to be one of the most beautiful resorts I've ever visited. My husband planned a few nights stay for us here while we backpacked through East Africa and we had so much fun! The staff are all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Located right on the beach, you can wake up in the morning and walk just... More

We stayed at the Royal Beach Hotel for 1 week in September 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel, pool, beach, gardens are beautiful and extremely well maintained. The staff is nice and attentive. Literally all other guests were Italian which was ok. Hence most staff could not speak English which was not a problem for us. The only negative... More

Very nice -- two large pools, great beach (though not crystal clear water -- Need to go to Nosy Tanikely for crystal clear water and snorkeling.) Room was very nice. Wifi was touch and go but mostly worked. Lovely veranda setting with view of ocean for a nice breakfast. Welcoming, helpful, friendly staff, with limited English. A lot of Italian... More

I never stayed over night here. But when I lived in Madagascar we'd come down to the hotel if there was an even like a birthday. It's a great place to chill out in the pool or spa and have a beer, then watch the sunset from the beach. The only thing is that you can expect to spend more... More

A pleasant property and upscale by ambient standards. The staff is helpful. The rooms fine, the WiFi as good or better than is usual in country. However, the main restaurant is beyond awful while the poolside cafe is adequate. My recommendation is book a room and eat elsewhere.

I am staying here for two nights on a business trip. The folks who work here are extremely friendly. The dining room staff is very attentive and the food is very good. The dining room has a lovely view of the beach. The beach is small, but very well kept. You constantly see staff raking the kelp off the sand.... More

My overall stay at the Royal Beach Hotel was great. I was there for 2 weeks. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the staff does speak English, but not very well. Google translate can help out with this. The rooms were very nice. However there are only a few channels on TV and only BBC comes... More
