We stayed at this tiny inn in Nosy Be in October. The rooms are very small and there is no hot water, but the rooms were clean, the location was great, the food and ambience wonderful, and the owner Jean Marc, charming and accomodating. The good things more than compensated for not being able to take a hot shower. We...

A fantastic couple run this unique guesthouse. Jean-Marc was very accommodating. I am a vegetarian and he would make me my own special meals. Whatever we wanted to do we would just talk with Jean-Marc and he would organize it for us without fail. This is the best guesthouse in Nosy-Be by far and I should know, I stayed in...

We had a wonderful stay at Chez Eugenie for 4 night in December. It was just lovely, the hospitality of the staff, fresh food, homely atmosphere. The owner takes great care of all guests, to arrange excursions, to meet any needs and to make helpful suggestions. Although there is no hot water shower and sometimes no electricity (My partner was...

We stayed at Chez Eugenie in mid-October 2011 for 3 days. Jean-Marc is a fabulously warm and welcoming proprietor with perfect English, he was very helpful in arranging trips. Chez Eugenie has a few tables to eat at in the evenings which is worth doing as the food was outstanding. The guest house is about 80 yards from Andiliana beach,...

My fiancé and I stayed here for five nights in August and had a fabulous time. The place is small and cozy and near Beautiful Andilana beach. Jean-Marc and his wife, Eugenie, were the best hosts we had for our trip- warm, friendly, and put up with our very bad French. The food here was also fantastic, by far the...

I have just returned from staying at Chez Eugenie and I just wish every hotel was like this - the host and his wife are just delightful and really go that extra mile - the hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are welcoming and you are made to feel very special. It is an intimate guest house with 5 rooms...

This family (Jean-Marc and Eugenie) made us feel totally at home and with their help we found out so much about the country, people, life and traditions. They were extremely helpful with...

“The "normal" rooms are fine, even though the outline is a bit unusal. The new bungalows and tower are extremely nice.”

“If travelling in a group I would chose the suites. They offer a communal sitting area and are larger than the doubles. The bathroom facilities upstairs are openplan in the bedroom so your party needs to be forewarned if someone is in the shower. But there is a private bathroom downstairs anyway.”
