Finca Tierra invites you for a one and a half hour guided tour of our permaculture demonstration and education center. We look at energy systems, carbon neutral cooking and bio-thermal hot water production. We learn about sustainable building techniques. We walk through the organic gardens, a polyculture of vegetables, fruits, edible leaves and medicinal plants and much more! Los Guardianes Wildlife Refuge is a private, protected area. Eleven owners join forces to preserve the southeastern Caribbean Rainforest and to establish a safe habitat for all (endangered) species. We offer night tours and day trips as well as a more day ranger training. You can also use the trails for free. Of course, we are happy about a donation. SURF LESSONS - At One Love we specialize in teaching woman and children but we are open to teach all. Lessons are taught by Julie and her two sons, Cedric and Solomon. Julie has surfed for 20 years and has taught both her two boys, one of which is a professional surfer, the other is a soul surfer. We begin on land, teaching water safety and beach jump ups, then we then go into the water where we push the student until they are up and riding. One lesson is about 90 minutes to 2 hours long.
