For travelers who like having their pick of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping, a stay at a resort or inn near the Tofino Marina will give a good range of local spots. Beach lovers who want to stay close to the sand and don't mind traveling for meals will be happier at a cottage on Lynn Road near Chesterman Beach, or at one of the resorts farther down the Pacific Rim Highway near Cox Bay. On a budget? The town of Ucluelet (just over a half-hour drive from Tofino Marina) can have cheaper deals even in the busy season, but it still has plenty of its own restaurants and shops.
