At the southernmost point of Canada, you’ll find 10,000 acres of idyllic vineyards, farms, beaches, parks and forests. Over half of America’s 50 states are north of Pelee Island, including Northern California. It shares the same latitude as some of the most prestigious wine regions of the world (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany and France). The main road stretches around the perimeter of the island and provides an excellent route to cycle or walk. If you plan to stay the night while visiting our Pelee Island Pavilion, there are a number of beautiful inns/bed & breakfasts to accommodate you.

Established in 1988, our museum houses a superb collection of island treasures. Focusing on Pelee Island's human and natural history, exhibits include geology, early Paleo-Indian culture, crossing the ice, wine history, fishing, quarrying, the pheasant hunt, shipwrecks, and much more. Open daily from May 1 through to Thanksgiving weekend.
