I booked a 4-day tour package with Haida House, and by the end, I wish I had booked a 7-day! The cabin was spacious, spotless, and a wonderful retreat where I could see the sunrise over the beach every morning. It was great to have all the tours booked through Haida House, and I lucked out a bit ending up with private tours after another group cancelled due to illness. My tours around the island were with Marni who was a fantastic, knowledgeable guide and I enjoyed the many hours we spent together. Last but certainly not least, all the food was EXCELLENT. I would call it gourmet quality, and I looked forward to every breakfast and dinner. Thank you, Marni, Kathy, and all the staff at Haida House for making me feel very welcome and for a memorable solo trip to a remote corner of the world! I hope I find my way back some day.

I loved this place. It's an old house, a little creaky, a little crooked but clean and comfortable. I stayed upstairs in the Cloud9 suite. The bed was comfy and the house is full of charm, beautiful art and has a host of interesting eclectic oddities. There is outdoor space with a nice deck with a table and seating. Susan was easy to reach and very helpful. Haida Gwaii is not a place where you find fancy hotels. It is a place of incredible beauty and is steeped in the rich culture of the Haida. Copper Beach House is a great home base for exploring the North end of the Island.

Really enjoyed my stay at Bayview. It is well thought out with very comfortable beds and living space, and a clean, well supplied kitchen. The atmosphere was relaxed and the other guests were all friendly and respectful. Flavien is a gracious host and has clearly worked hard to provide accommodation that makes his customers feel comfortable and "at home". I hope to be back one day! James from Saanich

We had a wonderful stay. Visiting Haida Gwaii on business, it was a great home base to return, cook our own dinners and enjoy our evenings walking the beach with the wildlife, enjoying the view and playing a little pool and various supplied games. Rooms are clean with lovely new bathrooms. We had to be held to a certain business budget, so I had booked the smallest room. As we were there towards the end of high season and it was quiet, they offered me an upgrade to a waterfront room. Very much appreciated!! Breakfasts were excellent and we enjoyed April and her fur babies company. And yes, April is an incredibly talented and accomplished Haida artist. I will definitely be back next time! Thank you!!

Stayed here for 3 nights, wouldn’t change a thing! Awesome location, amazing coffee shop for breakfast downstairs. Comfortable, well equipped room. Very clean and the service was excellent. Jags, his wife Sue, and their staff were all amazing. Can’t wait to come back here!

I stayed here in August for 3 nights with my partner and 2 children. This is a perfect place to stay in Haida Gwaii. Alana and Nicole are great hosts and have put together a very comfortable and beautiful place. The tents are well constructed and the beds and furniture inside are very comfortable. The social dome was well stocked with cooking utensils and was also a great place to hang out and read a book or converse with other travellers. We had a fire down at the beach which was set up with big comfy beach chairs. They also provided a breakfast that surpassed any continental breakfast I've had in other places - oh those homemade muffins! :) The cedar hot tub was icing on the cake. Alana and Nicole really have thought of everything in making this a fantastic place to stay. I would come back in a heartbeat and recommend it to everyone I have talked to. Jamala

There is literally nothing that could have improved our trip to QCL. The staff are amazing - they work ridiculously hard to ensure everyone has an incredible and luxurious experience. Shout out to Amanda, Noa and Megan! Our guide Garrett was outstanding and took us to the fish, ensuring we had plenty of opportunities to catch (which we did!), and to see some beautiful coastline. The food is unmatched, the property is gorgeous, and we felt a million miles away (although we are from the Vancouver area). I wouldn't hesitate to return and do it all over again. Absolutely top notch.

This place isn't really a traditional hotel, felt more like a bed and breakfast, minus the breakfast. Picture a big, rambling old country house divided up into rooms. Rooms were a little odd and it's not furnished all in white / beige like a modern hotel, but please, take note of where you are. It was clean, it was comfortable, Gracie was friendly and welcoming. There's a great deck right across from the ocean that was a perfect place to relax.

Cacelia is helpful, knows everything about the area and will point you in the right direction. Her home is full of art in various media and the accommodations are varied, so if you want a room with 3 beds, it is easy to arrange with her. The rooms are clean and spacious. The living room and kitchen downstairs are where people gather for breakfast or to chat. It's near the beach too!

We stayed here for 2 nights and found the rooms large, clean, well-cared for and Lenore very accommodating. It is well located for dinners and what little shopping Queen Charlotte City affords. The beds were comfortable too.
