    Fantastic Town
Some friends regularly visit Camden Town when they visit London, so I thought I would explore the area for the first time and wasn't disappointed. I arrived early on a Bank Holiday Monday and the Town was devoid of people. There is fantastic street art on the buildings along Camden High Street. Camden Lock is also great to explore with a canal system and bars and restaurants along the route. A different side to London and thoroughly recommended.

    The New Camden Town
Camden has changed over the past 20 years and has become a model for urban regeneration. As a result it has lost a large portion of its character that attracted all this attention in the first place. It has become too commercial and overrun with food joints and clothing shops. There are pockets of the old Camden however like The Dublin Castle on Parkway.

    I adore
I remembered this area as the most characteristic of London and after almost 20 years I confirm it again. I love everything about Camden Town. Street Food, colours, music, market, shops and the people who populate it every day.

    Quaint but really chaotic
We stayed on a Saturday, during a bank holiday in the UK. The main street was really too full of people, it was really difficult to walk. The shops are very characteristic and with particular representations on the walls. In Camden Lock there are many street food outlets and kiosks.

    London neighborhood overflowing with everything.
I have had the immense luck of taking a free tour of this area of London and it has been MAGNIFICENT, they have explained the history to us through the evolution of the musicians linked to this area and we have been OVERWHELMED. It seems to me to be a totally different area of the city from the rest, where there are many people trying to enjoy the different walk. It's surprising through the alleys, but when you enter the market or the canals you AMAZED. Then they tell you all the people who made the neighborhood famous and it is even more incredible; Oasis, Madness, Prince, Amy Winehouse, Pink Floyd,....

    Overcrowded on the weekend.
I wouldn't go back on the weekend, as much as I like the fun, it's super overwhelming. I recommend doing one of the many free tours they offer. Get away from the center a little, walk through the alleys and canals. Souvenir shops are generally more expensive than in the rest of London.

    Mitico Camden !
North London neighborhood famous for being frequented by the sadly deceased rock star Ami Winehouse and to whom murals and a statue were dedicated. Redeveloped and folkloristic offers, in the main street, particular shops, vintage with colorful facades. Entering and leaving the many shops you get to the real attraction... the Camden Market! A blaze of colors, futuristic stores like Cyber Dog, vintage, used, ... whatever product category you find here ... and then ... “street food” from all over the world ... a definitely extraordinary place to visit and spend a day there.

    Mooch around the market
Came up to Camden Market for the afternoon to have a look around and see what street foods they have an offer. We had a nice walk up the canal from King Cross station, albeit having to dodge idiots on bikes (they should be on the road, not a narrow pedestrian walkway). We walked around the market, and it’s surrounding areas. It’s a visual and nasal feast. Loads of funky street art, stalls and food venders. Most of the stalls are tat or overpriced, but worth a look. We tried some Pakistani street food from The Cheesy Naan vender, lovely food and the fella serving was really friendly. £11.50 for a Chicken Masala, we shared and it was more than enough for two. We came with the two pooches, just be mindful with dogs as it gets very busy later on with many people not really paying attention to where they’re walking (too many millennials more bothered about their insta moment taking selfies than looking where they’re going). Worth a visit.

    Walking through authentic London
Between vintage and vinyl shops, markets and souvenirs, candem town is one of the most mathematical and tangible experiences of the London climate. Very nice part of the food markets type and the "bubbles" where porter sit to eat. Eyes open and a great desire to have fun.

  • Westminster Hotels
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
