The hotel is located a short walk along the river from the old town as it backed on to a treed area and outdoor public swimming pools. The room was very nicely updated, the breakfast was excellent, great buffet with large selection of food items, both hot and cold. We arrived late and grabbed a very delicious pizza and beer for only 9.50 each it was the "great deal"of the day. Wifi quality was also very good....will definitely return to this hotel

Had a business meeting here. The hotel is clean, comfortable and modern. My only disappointment were the pillows on the bed - too soft for my taste. This hotel is Part of the Ernst Leitz Park and one has to admire the architecture.

About 30 of us stayed here and I think we overwhelmed the staff at dinner! Asparagus Swiss noodles pan (Vegetable Spätzle) was magnificent apparently !. Other dishes all good. Rooms very respectable and not too far to walk into town. Small car park on sire but all OK. Nice feel about the place

Good size site near a river, with the possibility of canoeing, cycling. Helpful receptionist (when there). Close to the town centre. The chemical toilet facility is difficult to find and inconvenient to use.

The hotel is in a good location, has a nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner. For dinner the prices are not so good, but it's important to have that option a few steps from your room. The emplyees speak english and are too kindly and atencion. Near to the mall, near to the squares where you can find pub, stores, restaurants and more.

A lot of the staff were super friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. We found the bar/ lounge staff to be exceptionally good. Great to have table tennis, table football and pool tables available fully kitted up so anyone could play - great fun with kids or other adults and a beer. Downside was that reception was always understaffed with people waiting some time for attention, some of the senior reception staff a bit full of their own importance and lacking customer service basics. Great breakfast spread but the scrambled eggs were cold all three days which was annoying to say the least (especially when cold and just brought out). If they could fix a few things this would be a very good hotel, we would stay there again in any event (we had three rooms)

First time visiting Wetzlar and chose the Blankenfeld because it had a restaurant and because it gave me a nice 30 minute walk into town each morning. There is plenty of car parking at the front side and rear. The room was comfortable, wifi worked for e-mails without fault and I used the restaurant on 3 of the 4 nights I stayed. They served an excellent black beer and for me the menu was big enough and the food quality was excellent

Room spacial, very quiet with a comfortable bed and roomy bathrom. Breakfast buffet was just amazing! Very fresh. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. GReat Location, just a short walk to the Old town, the Theater and to the Shops. Lots to see in the area.

This is a multi-building hotel and restaurant converted from a mill last active in the 1970s. The room was nice, but the duvet was about a foot thick. Dinner in their lovely restaurant didn’t work out well. We both ordered the half duckling and had begun drinking the bottle of German red wine that our waiter had suggested (the most expensive one, of course) when the waiter came over to tell us that they were out of duckling. We didn’t want to order white fish to go with the red wine, so the waiter suggested the zweibel roastbraten. We ordered that and lamb medallions. The “anti pasti” was a good starter, but the roastbraten was very tough, although the onion sauce was good, and the tiny lamb medallions were almost cooked through instead of medium rare and didn’t really taste like lamb, although I’m sure they were.

Hotel Euler Haus was a perfect choice for us to kill two birds with one stone: close enough to Messe Frankfurt where we visited ISH International Exhibition and cheap enough if compared with the prices for hotels in Frankfurt am Main during the period of holding the Exhibition. Besides, the hotel has such advantages as their own free parking lot within the inner court, vicinity of the shopping area, lovely restaurants and the railway station. The Lahn River is just behind the hotel and a short pleasant walk along the river takes you to the charming Old Town. The breakfast was really good and the breakfast-room looks very nice. Though our double room was far from looking cosy, it was spacious and had everything we needed including the soundproof windows. And it was absolutely kind of Herr Udo Krumme to provide us with an electric tea kettle upon request so we could feel quite at home in the evenings having a cup of hot tea after a long busy day spent in Frankfurt. All the staff were friendly and helpful - DANKE!
