Founded by the local nobility at the end of the 16th century,the Real Maestranza maintains a horse-riding school and is also the builder of an impressive bullring, in the centre of the romantic town of Ronda, near Malaga and the Costa del Sol. In modern times, the principal activities are devoted to the conservation of its unique historical and artistic heritage. It has gained a deserved reputation for the recovery of archives,works of art, libraries and original documents relating to its history. "Chinchilla", where our winery is located, was famous in Ancient Rome because of its vineyards and wines which were sent to Rome from Malaga's coast. At present our wine is distributed worldwide and it is, very likely, the most international Andalusian red wine.
