"I would describe the hotel as old school traditional. Very good relatively upto date rooms, with a Dyson hairdryer and Roberts radio. Table cloths and linen napkins excellent."

"We had just come from woodhill for 4 nights and took an offer up otherwise far too expensive for what it is. Woodhill is smaller better facilities per Head, great views and coastline, staff are great at woodhill."

"The River room has three windows each overlooks the marshes. The room is a good size and the bathroom is small but good enough. The decor is what you might expect in an old windmill."

"Kids play park and lots of space. Showers are great - only a 10 second timer so you need to keep switching it on. Washing machine and tumble dryer available as are a microwave and freezer."

"More often than not, the toilets were blocked and had no toilet paper. I only saw them being cleaned once a day and while doing this they told me I could go to the toilet but the handwashing sinks were closed off!"

"Staff are fantastic and welcoming, especially the lady (sue i think). Drinks and food really nice and very reasonably priced. We had a 2 night stay, rooms could do with a good refurb, these could be so much nicer."
