The Stampede is worth seeing at least once, it is the gateway to the National Parks. of British Columbiain life
A full immersion in the local climate and customs with many Indians. An exciting day with competitions of all kinds and an incredible show in the evening. A MUST not to be missed because it is close to the national parks of British Columbia. Unmissable scenic experience.

Evening show is worth it, the park, not so much
We were lucky to be traveling to Calgary when the Stampede was happening. The park was crowded and the food was ok but nothing spectacular. If you like amusement parks, you might enjoy this although you will be in line for a while to get on the attractions. What is worth the ticket is the evening show. Watching the chuck wagon race and the Raley Races was something worth waiting for. Very exciting. Finally the Grandstand show was very dynamic and kept us excited all the time. The firework display was something else. Need to go once in your life

    Very exciting and amusing
The stampede was on our Todoo list and we didn't regret it. Be sure to book seats in the upper rows early. Was worth every dollar, rodeo and evening show. You have to see the fair around the show. However, 2 days there were enough for us.

Brilliant day out but sit in the shade!
Make sure you get a seat in the shade (there’s a map on the site that shows shade and cover). We went on the opening day and it was HOT! Absolutely loved the show. Easy to buy snacks and drinks
