    Beautiful walks in perspective
Very pretty park, with beautiful walks or bike rides. The views of the city are quite impressive. In addition, a number of activities are possible there: the aquarium, Brockton Point Totem Pole, etc. A haven of peace and a green lung of the city.

Excellent 2 hour walk around the Park. Great views
We spent an excellent 2 hours ( 9 kilometre) walk around Stanley Park . It was a light rainy day but that was fine as the walk itself is along the waters edge the whole way. Heaps of spots to stop and take photos . You can cycle around but due to the rain we de died just to walk. There are cafes open around the walk but we were there in April and most were closed so you should take some water with you.

Beautiful Park, needs more free water fountains.
Visited: 04/06/2023. This Park is huge! We walked about 1/3 of it before getting tired, there is so much to see and do on this island. Would have hired bikes, but we forgot our internet dongle and had no signal. Lovely park, huge green spaces, plenty of trees, ponds, lots of sculptures around the edges of the island. Fantastic views of Vancouver all along the outside. Would definitely recommend a visit here. Bring your own bike or hire one, as walking will take you all day with decent trainers. We even saw a Bald Eagle which was beautiful! The only downside was a lack of water fountains for refilling drinks, and some of the cafes were shut when we visited. Bit of a shame for a Sunday. We might have seen more had we been able to get a drink.

    Versatile city
Beautiful city with beautiful high-rise buildings mixed with pleasant low-rise buildings, lots of natural beauty in the immediate vicinity. Certainly plenty of drinking options and a great range of dining options (certainly many Asian) Very good public transport, so everything is easily accessible.

    Enjoyed the hour ride
We hired e-bikes and rode around the Stanley Park sea wall cycle route . This is only for bikes, we were lucky to go when there were not many other cyclists as it could become a log jam if all the bikes on offer were hired!! Nice views around the sea wall, glad we did it.

    Beautiful escape from city
Easy to get bus 19 to from city centre. Stunning trees and views of harbour, North Van, mountains and Lionsgate Bridge. Busy all day but they have seperate lane for walkers and cyclists/skaters so you dont have to worry about that along seawall. Seawall walk is very worth it (but 8km) and can mix it up by venturing into forest areas to do some of the trails. I think the park is too large to do the seawall walk and all trails so pick and choose what you do. Be sure to visit the hollow tree, totem poles and Prospect Point for the best views of mountains and out to sea. Not enough bins in the area I think. We spent all day walking around this place, a haven from the city. There are a couple of beaches further round too and a wetland lagoon with lovely birds too.

Almost 50 years since our last visit - still beautiful.
A healthy walk on a day with amazing weather. We started at the totem poles - great mix of history and artistry. Way cool gift shop with unique, Canadian-made souvenirs. Easy walk to a wonderful aquarium. Grounds are KEPT well groomed and clean.

Spectacular Place for a Bike Ride through Beautiful Territory
Stanley Park is simply breath taking. It's huge, primitive, beautiful spot of sacred earth with huge trees in a gorgeous forest with beautiful ocean views. The First Nation totem poles are especially interesting. The part is very accessibly on a bicycle, which is what I recommend.

    Great oasis in Vancouver
A must see and do in Vancouver. A massive forest area ringed by road, cycle and walk ways circumventing the park with views at every corner. We opted to drive round the park and stop at the numerous parking areas to explore each section . We purchased a day parking ticket at $15.50 which enabled us to park throughout the area plus return in the evening to see the sun go down from Third beach. Lots of cafes and toilet facilities whenever you need them. Do be careful of the plethora of cyclists, skateboarders and joggers as you navigate the roadways. There is a 30kmh speed limit which is fine. There is also a one way driving route which occasionally goes into two ways so stay alert! Check out the beaches on the west side, the forest trails and the totem poles near Brockton point.
