    Peace and tranquility
Beautiful and well maintained gardens, water areas and trails. It was very wet when we went, so we stayed on the main paths, but there are many trail options. Stunning trees, floral displays and fauna all over. Such a peaceful and relaxing oasis in Victoria.

You will find surprises in this park
We never miss a visit to Beacon Hill park when we are in Victoria. It’s a great place to walk about and also encounter peacocks, ducks, owls and lots of squirrels. Spring time is beautiful with all of the flowers and trees blossoming. You can connect to the beach and walk and explore for some time if you want.

So much here (and a totem pole too!)
Every time I go to this park I've forgotten how multifaceted it is: there are playground areas, ponds with wildlife, trees with wildlife, a petting zoo, a putting green, cricket field etc. Lots of room for parking, lots of places to stroll or sit or hang about. Bring a book, a picnic and spend the entire day here in this place designed for people's pleasure in a natural setting. And it's free!!!

    Good park
Very nice park, a lot to see. A very close walk from downtown on the opposite side the water is there so you can keep your walk going by continuing to walk along the water. The petting zoo is also very fun, but can get busy in the summer.

Great Place To Spend A Morning
We love a good garden walk and this was one of our favorites. We arrived fairly early in the morning and were able to watch the daily “running of the goats” at the Children’s Farm from just outside the fence. After that, we started our journey through the park from the south end and got to see a lot of free roaming peacocks, geese, and ducks. We even saw the elusive blue herons and “the” bald eagle. Huge variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees, plus the gigantic rhododendrons. As we made our way along the paths, we stopped to enjoy all the statues, sculptures, water features, and pond areas. It’s a great place to spend the morning or have an afternoon picnic.
