    Close up of the rapids!
We loved this experience. The attraction was part of a pass that we purchased. You take an elevator from street level down to the water. They have some historical information but the main attraction is walking along the rapids and the scenery. It is so beautiful! You can take as long as you want observing the rapids. They have benches where you can sit and watch. The walk does not provide access to the water for safety reasons.

    Pleasant walk beside dramatic rapids.
A short and easy walk along a stretch of the Niagara River below the falls with very turbulent rapids. I thought this site was one of the best paid sites on the Canadian side of the river; most of the other paid sites around Niagara Falls were a bit mediocre in comparison. Note: You're not seeing the falls - just rapids. But the "just" rapids are pretty impressive. The building at the start of the walk has some fun facts about adventurers who have braved the falls/rapids.

This is where you stroll along the rapids on a boardwalk. It is beautiful and an easy walk. The rapids are roaring down the river and the sound is amazing. Buy the Niagara Falls pass that includes the attractions and transportation pass. Well worth $$

Great way to see the rapids
This is a great stop to see the river roaring past you, in addition to the rest of the local topography. First you descend down an elevator, then walk through a short tunnel to get to the walkway at the river’s edge. There are lots of signs explaining the area and its history. We used street parking for one hour and had plenty of time.

    Great experience
This is part of the many things to do with the Niagara Parks Pass. Hence it is included with the ticket and is one the many great things to do in addition to the falls. Great experience in particular to see the power of the water up close. The Niagara Park Pass makes it cost effective, is so well organised, makes it the best way to see all of the sights on the Canadian side. Which of course is the better side to view the falls.

One of my favorite attractions at Niagara Falls!
I loved this attraction. We got tickets when we bought the Niagara Falls Pass. I could have spent all day here just enjoying the rush of the water. The kiosks placed along the walk way educated us about the power of this part of the river. The elevator ride down and the top part of the boardwalk make it accessible for everyone. It was about a 20 minute drive from the main tourist area of Niagara Falls. If you don't have a car you can take to We-Go green line to it.

Gorgeous way to start the day
Not in the main tourist area but it is worth a stop. You take an elevator down and then you walk through a short tunnel and come out to the most amazing views of the rapid area of the river. The walking platform is well maintained and there are a few stop areas to get a closer look at the river. I believe it is about a half mile to the end and back but it went by fast. There are benches at the beginning and at the end of the walkway. We started one of our days in Niagara area here and it was a great way to start the day. Especially since parking is limited here, it was nice to get there before they opened and had a great spot.

Hear the raging river and see the power of the water!
We had purchased a timed entry but there was still a 20-30 minute wait to ride the elevator down to the boardwalk. It didn't seem like a crowd on the boardwalk and there were many vantage points to take beautiful photos or just to stop and watch the rapids to see and hear the power of the water. Worth a visit in my opinion.

    Stunning but short
Stunning to be walking beside such awesome rapids. It's a pretty short stretch of path though so don't think you'll be doing a massively long walk along the river. Easy to spend a while there though just staring at the mesmerising water as it tumbles by.

    WOW!
We were on the WEGO bus and made the decision to visit the White water walk & we were so glad we did. It’s an elevator trip down to the rapids and then a short walk beside the river with some great spots to take pictures & see the power of the rapids. Lots of useful information along the pathways too. Really enjoyed this & would definitely recommend it

Adventure seekers can also go zip-lining, jet-boating, hiking and cycling with the falls as the backdrop. For a truly magical experience, stay after dark when the falls are illuminated.
