    Absolutely incredible experience
We had firstly seen this advertised on a comercial site at about $150 but when we researched it , found that you can order direct with the park and they even have a free shuttle from three different locations in Vancouver and the total costs are considerably less. This park is an amazing experience on the various bridges and walkways through the jungle of trees. If you are lucky you may see some local wildlife. If you don’t you will come away with a real knowledge of the local ecology. Expect to spend in excess of 3 hours. Absolutely brilliant
Feedback like this really makes us smile. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your 5 star experience. We hope you visit us again!

Great place to visit, albeit overcrowded on the day we went
We booked on a full day tour out of Vancouver to take in the capitano Suspension Bridge as well as Grose Mountain and other attractions. It was well organised and on time, the only downside was the huge number of other people who had the same idea on a beautiful summer day! The crowd cued up and on the bridge - when we got there - was unbelievable and even a local man we spoke to said he had made many visits, but never seen it like it was on that late July day! The tree walk and cliff walks were equally enjoyable as were the food and refreshment outlets. The crowd aside, an experience to be recommended to our friends.
Hi there, we really appreciate you taking the time to share a detailed 5 star review! It really makes us smile to hear our guests having such wonderful experiences inside the park.

Unique place, they have activities for kiddos. Not stroller friendly but you can carry your kiddo in the back. Beautiful place, it will take you like 4 hrs enjoy it. Take a beer or hot chocolate at the end with live music and enjoy the view

    Thrilling experience
During our Vancouver visit in September 2023, we enjoyed this park. It has many activities. Capilano suspension bridge is on Capilano river, 137 meter long & 70 meter high from river base. Treetop adventure is a series of 7 suspension bridges with plateforms in between rainforest trees, 33meter high. Cliff walk bridge 213 meter long with beautiful views. Tickets are as per age. Child below 5 years & wheelchair visitors are free. Senior citizens have discount. Online tickets are cheaper than window. Evening tickets were cheaper when we visited. Free shuttle is available both ways from downtown Vancouver. Best activity to enjoy in Vancouver.
We’re happy you enjoyed your time at the park, thank you for visiting and for taking the time to share your experience

    Fairy tale lights
The lights really made the whole experience a very fairy tale like ! Safety was well looked after and they were controlling the crowds on the bridge with great care . It was surreal , and great coffee and hot chocolate at the other end !
Thanks for the kind words and the 5 stars. Capilano is a beautiful place when the Christmas lights are showing off our gorgeous trees. We do hope you get a chance to come and visit again, it’s just as beautiful in the summertime.

    Amazing time
We went in December for the Christmas lights. This park was decked out and decorated beautifully for Christmas. The suspension bridge is wild. It is not for the faint of heart, it gets swinging and jumping and it is long. The opposite side has paths to walk with lights everywhere. You can walk on swing bridges from tree to tree. There is a place for hot chocolate and a heated seating area. Back across the bridge you can walk on the cliff walk and see totem poles. They have a nice gift shop and restaurant. We took a free shuttle from Canada Place(25 minutes). The price was about $50USD and well worth it. You do need to buy tickets with a timed entry. We would recommend arriving just before dark so you can see the river below the suspension bridge and do the Cliff Walk first. We had a great time and highly recommend it.

Not for those who don't like heights!
A Temperate Rainforest. We didn't realise that a free shuttle bus ran regularly from Canada Place in Vancouver to the park, so we had used public transport to make our way there. It was late September when we visited, so we had no problem getting a ticket as there were no queues. The price we paid on the gate was, $70.00pp Once inside you have to go over the pedestrian suspension bridge, now of you don't like heights this is as far as you will go! This was the busiest part of the park, people in the way, taking selfies, running and jumping doesn't make for a pleasant experience!! Once over the bridge the park is amazing, cool lakes, huge birds, even bigger trees, and suspended walkways between some of these trees. Oh and also a few places to grab a drink and a snack! If this wasn't enough high action for you, then there's always the newish Cliffwalk to finish the day! You could easily spend a whole day here enjoying the beautiful park.
Hi! Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are so glad that you enjoyed your day at the Park.

    Totally Worth It!
We took a spontaneous trip to Vancouver from Seattle and when searching for things to do this popped up. We were skeptical at first because of the price per person but we were SO HAPPY that we ended up doing it. Literally, an experience to remember. We were so lucky that Canyon Lights was still happening because it was truly beautiful. We got in at 4:30 so we got there right as the sun was going down and barely had enough light to view the Capilano river before it got completely dark, but it was still beautiful with all the lights. I would really love to go again during the day to really admire the forest and surrounding areas. Truly one of a kind experience.
Thanks for the kind words and the 5 stars. Capilano is a beautiful place when the Christmas lights are showing off our gorgeous trees. We do hope you get a chance to come and visit again, it’s just as beautiful in the summertime.

    Must-do Half-Day Trip
This is a must-do for visitors to Vancouver. The suspension bridge is impressive, and the walkways, including the treetop walk, are well built into the forest, or against the cliff-face. Being from Australia, my family had been to similar bridges and suspended walks at home, but this was the first time we had seen a rainforest of pine trees, and the deep gorge and clear fast river add some drama to the scenery. To cap it off, there is a good selection of light or restaurant food for after the walk. The only thing that didn’t resonate with us was the addition of artificial lights throughout the walkways. Perhaps because we weren’t there in the evening, we didn’t get to appreciate the lights in the dusk, but in the daylight, we felt that nature would have done better without artificial additions.
Hi there! We’re happy you enjoyed your time at the park, thank you for visiting and for taking the time to share your experience! You visited us through our canyon lights event that runs from November through to January. You may enjoy the park more during our summer months!

    Overpriced but worth doing once
This is undoubtedly overpriced for a walk in the woods, but I am glad that I went. It wasn’t crowded at ~4pm on a Monday in March. The bridge wasn’t so excited but the temperate rainforest is a unique and beautiful environment that is not familiar to most parts of the world. Being in the forest and the totem poles were my favorite parts.
Thank you for taking the time to share your review, we are happy to hear you were able to enjoy the park! Did you know that as a BC resident, you have the incredible opportunity to enjoy an annual pass for the same price as a 1-day ticket? This exclusive offer is our way of showing appreciation to our local community. But that's not all – there's a whole world of enchantment waiting for you throughout the year. Imagine experiencing the magic of events like Canyon Lights, where the beauty of the canyon comes alive with a mesmerizing display of lights. And for those seeking a thrill, Canyon Frights offers a ghostly adventure like no other. And when February approaches, our Love Lights event will warm your heart with its festive spirit.
