What an awesome experience to sail on the iconic Bluenose. Great to see men and women sailors working in sync to sail such a wonderful ship. Bigger ship than I expected It was a memorable experience

What an amazing experience to sale On the Blue Nose II!!! Loved watching the sails unfold, the boat lean towards the water and the crew put it all backs to rights again. Very freindly crew, answered my gazillion questions. Haha Would love to go again!

We sailed out of Lunenburg. It was an excellent day for sailing: good wind, sunny and warm. The ship was amazing as was the crew. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They worked together seamlessly as a team with each task done, whether that was hoisting the sails or tucking them away. I highly recommend this adventure.

I booked the Bluenose II, months in advance. They have 30 crew and 60 passengers and fill up quickly. I paid $190 for 2 tickets. We checked in at the Bluenose store across from the docks in Lunenburg at 0830 and at 0930 after a safety briefing, boarded the magnificent ship. Many of the crew were new and young but worked very hard. This was their second trip out this harbor with passengers this season, and they were great. We found a spot to sit while they motored us out closer to the ocean. It was a fair weather day with perfect winds. The crew raised 4 sails and got us up to 8 knots. Gabe, an experienced crew member was more than willing to answer our questions. I noticed that all of the crew engaged the passengers. You were allowed to move around the deck but safety was paramount and the crew kept a vigil eye on everyone.... especially the two young boys pushing each other around close to the railing. This was something that needs to be experienced because reviews don't do it justice.

The whole experience was awesome! Must do, rain, fog, or shine. The captain and crew went out of their way to make passengers welcome. They were insightful and answered all questions. I cannot say enough about how this magical moment.

We had booked a sailing trip and were not disappointed. Unfortunately we had little wind, yet sails were set. The diesel engine had to help out. It was a great experience, everyone was very communicative and friendly. A wonderful excursion with a beautiful sailing ship.

The power of sails since 1963. The bluenose 2 has an unparalleled charm. History, know-how and an immense charm can still vogue in 2024. The crew gives us all the information to make this adventure most unforgettable. The most beautiful sailboat that will remain larger than life.

Such teamwork by the crew of 20 young people from all across Canada. I have toured the Bluenose ll before, but the actual sailing was well worth the money. We sailed around the Halifax Harbour and learned so much about the Bluenose from this knowledgeable crew!

The Bluenose II is a lovely impeccably maintained ship. The crew consisted of young men and women who carried out their duties professionally. We enjoyed talking to them. The only disappointment was that the boat was not powered completely by sail due to insufficient winds. I was informed that the afternoon sails were more likely to get sufficient winds.

Amazing experience. Crew were all helpful and friendly. i wish it was longer i didnt want to leave! Weather was just perfect! i cant wait to do it again. The crew worked like a fine tuned Ballet. Truly something to see.
