The day was great, especially with and big new snow dump on the day. The worst part of the day was parking but after awhile it worked out. Getting our rentals and lift tickets were pretty easy. Staff were good and friendly. My only suggestion is that we went to the lodge Cafe to get a snack. While staff were very good, the cashier who helped us wore a sweater with pain stains all over it. While I understand the importance of individuality, seems unprofessional to wear something you wore painting to work. I would suggest that all Cafe wear Cypress clothing like those work in rental shop

We went for a day just to walk and have lunch. Pretty snow. Very expensive cafeteria restaurant. $85 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2. sodas 2 chocolate bars. We had to stand and wait for it with a tray, and seat ourselves. Parking app wasn't working correctly, it took 45 minutes to pay $20 Parking. Customer service center (3 agents) was slow..I waited in line for 45 minutes only 3 people ahead of me. . Gift shop was a rip off too, nothing interesting to buy except $300+ windbreakers or ugly plain $70 hoodies that looked like Walmart clothed. A rip off.

I skied for the first time on Cypress in early April. I really enjoyed the ski conditions, the friendly staff on the hill and in the canteen. I rented my ski equipment; fabulous. The sunset from the top of Black Mountain in the early evening was a very big surprise. The 'lift' to the top was very busy from 7 pm onward, as lots of other skiers and boarders knew why they were going to the top. Each of the two mountains is different from the other. Good grooming was good to see.
