I am a member/supporter of the gardens at Cambo Estate and I invited a friend to come and join me. We enjoyed a walk to the beach and around the walled gardens, price is very reasonable for guest, plus gift aid and monies go towards the related projects and community activities on site. We had a lovely lunch, food was fresh and well presented. Lots of healthy options and the environment in the converted stable area is fantastic. Thankyou so much, will be visiting again soon.
Hi V10160Llaurac, Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you and your friend enjoyed the beautiful gardens, the walk to the beach, and the lovely lunch. My time was limited so I dashed through the woods to the sea. The walk was nice but getting to the sea was a bit disappointing since you end up next to a golf tea. That aside it is a nice stroll along the stream. The gardens are lovely.
Hi Beth_sage, I am glad you enjoyed your visit. If you follow the the path it will take you through the golf course and down to Kingsbarns beach. I will pass your kind words onto the team. Thanks, Harry

Delightful oasis of peace and calm. Surprisingly large with so much to see in the well managed and tended wall garden. A riot of colour and perfumes. Spent a very pleasant couple of hours before taking the walk to the beach. Even on a blustery day the view across the beach and dunes was magnificent. The cafe was pleasant with good selection of cakes for afternoon tea. The rhubarb scone was particularly delicious. (Lunch menu also appeared interesting and appetising). Service was ok however overall effect was let down by serving tea and coffee in disposable cup especially as cakes came on china plates!! As a place promoting biodiversity and eco friendly approaches it was even more odd that the jam and cream came in plastic tubs!! Despite this little oddity this is a place, off the beaten track that is well worth a visit ...and a rhubarb scone.
Hi BedsAndFood, Thank you for your review, I am glad to hear you had a great time in our wonderful gardens. The reason we were serving hot drinks in paper cups is because our dishwasher was broken, we are very much eco forward and would never provide anything that is harmful to the the plant. Everything is compostable including, the tubs for the jam and cream as it is a plant material and not plastic. We sell nearly 1500 cups a coffee a day so we were trying to help the staff from handwashing all cups. I hope you understand and return soon for more Rhubarb scones! Thanks, Harry

Great place to visit all year round. There is a walled garden full of stunning plants and flowers, an edible garden growing fruit and veg and a woodland walk that ends up at the beach. We always finish the day with a visit to their dog friendly cafe for coffee and a bun - fabulous!
