    Great Cathedral Guide John
I was in Glasgow Cathedral toady and had been giving a one-on-on free tour by Catheral guide John MacAskill. John was very patient and even slowed down to make sure I understand his accent, which is not think at all. Kind of regretting not have taken his photo for memory. Thank you, John!

    Unexpected delight
Our guidebook was strangely silent on this gem, which does discredit to the guidebook company. The cathedral is a delight. It's not large, but the proportions are beautiful and the nave soars above your head with graceful Gothic arches and beautiful windows. But the real treat comes when you discover that beneath the raised choir, there's a lower church. Here, the groin vaults need to conform to an unusual shape, resulting in a fabulous collection of interesting angles joins. St Mungo lurks down there as well. Definitely worth a visit, especially if the lower church is open (before 16:30, from what I saw on the sigs today).

    Lovely cathedral
An attractive cathedral with some particularly lovely stained glass windows both older and newer. The nave itself is otherwise surprisingly plain and bare, I suspect because all the original side chapels were removed after the reformation. However, the architecture is still beautiful in itself. Make time to see the under church too which explains more about the cathedral’s 700-800 or so year history as well as containing St Mungo’s tomb.

    Impressive!
Came here recently during my visit to Glasgow. Very impressive structure, and was fairly busy when we came to it. Really cool to explore and learn about the history of the cathedral. The Necropolis is also situated next to it, so well worth combining into one trip!

    Nice cathedral to visit
Very nice cathedral to visit, beautiful to see from the outside and take photos from different locations around cathedral. Inside very spacious with lovely architecturally elements around the interior. Also to the side an old cemetery that was interesting to walk around.

    A Glasgow Highlight
If you come to Glasgow, you simply MUST visit this awesome, historical, holy place. The rich history and architecture here are unique. Take time to really soak in all that the cathedral has to offer. The place is quite large, with many "nooks and crannies" to explore. Be sure and go downstairs and see if you can find the tomb of St. Mungo, not something you see in most cathedrals.

First visit for someone who lived in Glasgow
After living in Glasgow and its surrounding areas our entire lives, my partner and I had never visited this location and deciced that was something that had to change. We visited here on a whim one day and were amazed at this location. I would say taht if anybody is visiting Glasgow this should be on their list as it was way beyond me expectations, we took a huge number of photographs and still think back to our visit a while ago with great pleaseure.

    Jaw dropping
This is a 10 on the WOW factor. The Cathedral is gorgeous, especially the interior. When you walk in you don’t know where to begin to look since the ceilings, columns and arches are so spectacular. I loved the organ and the stained-glass windows the most. Do not forget to look at the wooden carvings at the ends of the pews to see the intricate carvings. When we visited, the tomb of St. Mungo attracted several visitors along with the other crypts so there was a wait to view but worth the time.

    Great cathedral
This is one of the most important sights of Glasgow. The church is fantastic both on the inside and on the outside. There are cellars to go to and see the tomb. The best view is when you go up the Necropolis cemetery, which is also interesting to see.
