    Chapel of light
This chapel was built by King Louis IX to display the Crown of Thorns that Jesus wore. Its most impressive feature? Those stunning stained glass windows that soar high into the air. There's more glass than wall here, that's for sure. The chapel is located right next to the French courts, so security is tight. Lines to the chapel can get long, so you may want to purchase tickets in advance, or come here first thing in the morning. If you didn't purchase tickets in advance, you'll have to go through security first before proceeding to the chapel to buy your tickets. You can buy a combination ticket for the nearby Conciergerie, so if you plan on visiting that site as well, get the combination ticket.

    A truly heavenly experience
Sunlight streams through a kaleidoscope of colors at Sa Sainte-Chapelle, a breathtaking jewel box in Paris. Each stained glass panel tells a biblical story, bathing the interior in a luminous glow. Prepare to be awestruck by the sheer artistry and historical significance of this architectural masterpiece. Don't miss the chance to walk among the clouds at the top chapel - a truly heavenly experience!

    Gothic architecture
If you like Gothic architecture, then Sainte Chapelle is a must when you visit Paris. Incredibly well preserved, a magical place, which keeps intact for centuries, some of the most beautiful stained glass windows in France. A Bible in stained glass, a gem in stone ! It's worth a visit. Reservation required.

Gorgeous - buy ticket in advance or know the tricks!
This is a gorgeous cathedral and has always been one of my favorites in Paris. However, with Notre Dame being closed, the lines to get in here have gotten out of control. You must buy a ticket in advance! If you did not and are reading this review standing in a long “no ticket line” then I have a tip for you! Go next door to the Conciergerie and buy a “combo ticket” for both attractions. Then you can go back to the Chapelle and enter straight away (or with whatever time slot is being allowed to go in). It’s a massive loop hole and worked like a charm for me. The Conciergerie is also a nice attraction and worth seeing as well so be sure to see both - especially if you paid for it! That being said, once your ticket is checked for the Chapelle you still have to go through security which is a massive pain and is a different unavoidable line. Lots of attractions in Paris have intense security but something about this one is terribly inefficient and slow. It needs to be addressed by management.

    Do not miss
This place is a masterpiece, I think it's almost unique in the world, a real treasure. Given the crowds and the income that it generates, I think that everything should be better maintained as less dust would harm the place. too bad for visitors to put up with the work fences that hide the facade and please improve the toilets, foreign visitors must have a poor opinion of it. As far as the queue is concerned, it's not going too bad, but we would have to find another system. But all these disadvantages are swept away by the place which is exceptional.

    Breathtaking
This chapel was by far our favorite visit in Paris. The stain glass windows depicting stories from the Bible are overwhelming powerful. We didn’t want to leave. We purchased tickets prior to our visit which I highly recommend. I purchased my timed entry ticket about three weeks prior. We visited at 9:30 am, we were late getting to chapel so don’t stress if you are running 5-10 mins late. There are 3 lines, towards the left is the no ticket line, the other two are the ticket lines. Please look closely to see which line is for your time slot. We did not wait long maybe 10 mins and then entered security check. Staff was very attentive to visitors, moving lines fast. We stayed about an hour here and then made short walk to see Notre Dame.

    Simply stunning
Book a time slot - you'll need to even if you have the Paris/Museum Pass - and you won't be disappointed. It is a superb chapel boasting gothic arches and vaulted ceilings with the most breathtaking and beautifully restored stained glass. Absolutely marvellous. Security is very tight here due to its location being within the Justice Divisions so don't be alarmed by the armed guards. Once inside, sit back and gaze in wonder - if you can stop yourself taking photos long enough...

    Wow
Pro: The only thing that I could think when I stepped inside was WOW. It’s overwhelming beautiful. I’d recommend giving yourself a little time to sit down and look around at the windows. Cons: You will need to go through security to get inside. Security guards are not necessarily multi-lingual or patient, so be prepared to pay attention. Also, on site bathroom facilities are less than stellar.

    Unavoidable
Parisian by birth, I had never visited the Sainte-Chapelle, it was a friend from Normandy who advised me to go there and what a slap in the face! The lower chapel is disappointing but going up the stairs on the left, the upper chapel is absolutely magnificent, these stained glass windows so high so beautiful, you feel very small... And the floor, everything is beautiful, there are so many details ! I already want to go back because I loved it so much :)

    Fabulous windows, fabulous concert.
I went here for a concert on Easter Sunday, which was a delight. It would possibly not be your best bet if you wanted to really take your time to examine the detail on those magnificent windows, but it was fine for me. The seats are only allocated in blocks, with the concert only ones being further away. There was a line to get in (from 5.30 for a 6.30 concert), so I sat across the road having a drink in Les Deux Palais, and waited for the line to move, meaning it took hardly any time to get through the security scanners and then get seated. It is a beautiful building, and hearing such lovely music there is a memorable experience.
