    I really like the zoo, it's great for just getting out. I already have my 3. Annual pass, as it pays off if you go to the zoo 5 times within a year. However, you should actually go in really early at the regular prices for single admission, because otherwise many animals are locked up again very early and you then have none of it. The food and coffee at the lagoon is great and I have never been disappointed there. Basically, however, quite a zoo and a new adventure is also given thanks to the new treetop path.

    The zoo is really beautiful. It's a good place to walk (even if it's a bit hilly). The price (€20 per adult) is a bit high but the park is very clean and there's a lot to see. Whether lions, tigers, polar bears and dolphins belong in a zoo is something everyone has to decide for themselves... There are also many less exotic animals.

    The zoo is located in a forest, just outside the city. Easy to reach by public transport. There are a lot of animals, which look good. The aquariums are clean, making the fish look even more colorful. It is vast so that means walking and sometimes up and down again.

    A beautiful and large-scale zoo. The entrance fees are heavy. We were very disappointed that we could not go to dolphins because of conversion work. You're not told that at the entrance, just outrageous. And you still pay the full entrance fee. And for paths that are closed, it is written to "with a small detour" which then takes so long. With twins and a bolter truck, it's really ugly. Family friendly are also by no means the photos you can order. A picture about 30 euros. It's a complete rip-off. That's too bad.

    The Nuremberg Zoo is a place worth seeing for animal lovers of all ages. The variety of animals is impressive, the enclosures are well maintained and integrated into the landscape. The opportunity to watch dolphins up close underwater is fantastic. There are also informative events. Overall, a great experience for a family outing. The only negative thing is the catering, which only shines through the poor quality of the completely overpriced ready meals on offer.

    The Nuremberg Zoo is located in an area with a lot of forest. The area is very large, over 60 hectares. It is easy to get there using public transport. The enclosures are large and the animals have plenty of space. Some of the facilities are older, but still offer the animals a good environment. Some are being built, some are being renovated, but there are also new buildings. You can easily spend half a day or a whole day in the zoo.

    We were there as a family. The zoo is simply beautiful and included in the Nuremberg Card. Otherwise the price is steep, although it is within the normal range if you compare it with other zoos. Very nice playgrounds if you need a break from the animals.

    I was visiting with my mother and a friend. We had a wheelchair pre-booked. The entrance was totally uncomplicated and extremely friendly and helpful. In the Tiergarten itself everything is very wheelchair friendly. There are also many disabled toilets that are easily accessible. You have to be prepared for the strenuous mountain:-). Everything is very nicely laid out and spacious. You can spend the whole day on site, there are many small rest areas and also restaurants to eat. Very easily accessible by public transport, whether bus, tram or S-Bahn. Lots of free parking outside the door.

    The zoo is easy to reach - we arrived by car. Parking facilities are ample. The grounds are very extensive. There are many animals to discover - although not all of them can be reached by the signposted paths through construction work. There is still room for improvement in the information about closed paths. The enclosures seemed to us as laymen sometimes a bit small for some animal species. Here we are used to “better” things from other zoos.
