    Intriguing building to visit.
This modern building really stands out against the landscape of the harbor and the city. Modern architecture for sure and so much glass! Though I really enjoy old buildings much more there is a certain attractiveness to this place. Plenty of cantilevered areas and the glass in places looks like fish scales with clear and color panes to give it a celebratory appearance. Walk around the outside, but see the inside as well. We did not attend any events here, but would have loved to see a symphony concert here. Below ground thee is a huge parking area for cars.

    Reykjavik Concert Hall
While in Reykjavik, wander over to the unique looking concert hall building and take a few photos inside and out. The building is free to visit. There is a shop inside as well as bathrooms, but you do have to pay for the bathroom. Everything downtown Reykjavik is easily walkable, and this building is so shiny, you can't miss it. It's also right on the waterfront, so you'll be able to take some nice photos there as well.

A must see building, but hard to miss
This is a fascinating building to go inside down in the harbor. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to attend any events there. There is a twice a day tour of the building which may be worth it. The gift shop with regional crafts is excellent. Even if your stay is brief, do make a point of seeing and going inside this building.

    Beautiful "quartz" building
Went on just to see this beautiful building. The free areas are limited (naturally) but still enough to see the beauty of the glass/steel composite walks. It made me think of crystals lined together. Perhaps it is me thinking of links to overhand geologically strong character... Worth the visit, especially if you are a keen photographer.

    Olafur Eliasson’s masterpiece
We were returning to the Harpa Center frequently during our stay in Reykjavík. I was literally going in circles admiring this spectacular modern masterpiece shining in the sun, changing colors and shades adding so much character and beauty to the austere harbor. Olafur Eliasson created a real masterpiece of modern architecture gorgeous both inside and outside. If you are interested in authentic quality products, I highly recommend visiting amazing, albeit very expensive, gift shop, Rammagerdin, in the Harpa Center.

Glass Building + How to be Icelandic Show
Good: The building is beautiful and well maintained. It is clean and has a public restroom in the basement. The how to be Icelandic show was enjoyable and funny for a wide crowd, but didn't elicit much of a crowd response. Bad: The show could be a bit long if you are not enjoying it. There is also not much in the building for more general tourism. One thing that surprised me is that the How to be Icelandic show was sequestered to a small side auditorium instead of the main stage. For something used to show off the property to tourists, this was a bit disappointing.

    Harpa is a Great experience.
Harpa is a very beautiful and effektiv Building. It’s always special to be there. The piano concerto with Pablo Ziegler and Jose Bragato was wonderful. I hope the recent construction activies across the square do not destroy the living link between Harpa and the Harbour.

Impressive architecture in an uninspiring city
Looks fantastic from the outside with the glass panels depicting fish scales. Mirrored ceiling panals inside look cool. Nothing worth seeing inside really unless you book a concert. A great opportunity to take photos of a building in reykjavik which in itself, architecturaly, is quite bland and some what drab . Lots of buildings of different shades of gray which does actually look like one large out of town shopping/Industrial unit complex

I bet the acoustics are awesome
Large glass building on the harbour. It is very smart looking and fancy shapes of glass and coloured blocks make it very unique. We didn't venture inside nor see a concert but I imagine it would be worth it for the acoustics. Worth seeing it, especially at night.

    Majestic Space
This building is by the Bay Area and it’s the music conservatory. It’s architectural beauty is in the windows which are like a bee hive. The light reflects beautifully inside and out, they are also are illuminated at night. They have all type of daily musical programs. You can also just go and visit the spaces. There’s is a fancy restaurant at the top floor and a bar, cafe and restaurant at the lobby area. We visited a temporal exhibition called Circuleight. Do not miss.
