We rented a catamaran from Island Spirit and had a fabulous time doing some island hopping. They provided lots of great information before that made it easy to provision and coordinated the travel to and from the Trat airport which made everything easy. They were so friendly and helpful when we checked in and getting us quickly on our way. Island hopping around Koh Chang was amazing. Beautiful beaches, fabulous food, lots of activities and smiling people to help out. Not to mention that we were frequently one of the only boats in each of the anchorages that we stayed at. The only issue that we had was one of the engines overheated and we had to wait a couple of days for a replacement. However, they were very accommodating and brought a new catamaran to us and we were able to resume cruising for the rest of the time that we had. I would highly recommend Island Spirit for cruising the Koh Chang area and can't wait to return and cruise more of the area!

Vagalame, a Catalina 375 is a perfect yacht for a couple. We sailed out of Koh Samui, through the national park, around Koh Tao then Koh phangan and back to Koh Samui. Vagalame is well maintained, sails beautifully and heads upwind exceptionally well. Autopilot makes her a breeze to sail single handed. Simple no hassle charter, great service from Raymond and team.

I arrived having zero formal training and only acted as crew on friends charter, most of which was decades ago. Instructors and course and learning in Thailand were all incredible. I cannot recommend this enuf if you want to crew or charter bareboat. It was well worth the travel half way around the world.

We had an incredible trip with Island Spirit Charter Company! Raymond had everything well organized. The journey around Koh Samui, Ang Thong National Park, Koh Tao, and Koh Pha-ngan was nothing short of breathtaking. The catamaran was in good condition, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Despite it being the rainy season, the weather was surprisingly pleasant, with rain mostly during the early night hours, allowing us to fully enjoy our days. Just finished a ten day trip on a yacht chartered from this company. The information given prior to the trip was excellent. Raymond was so helpful booking our transfers and taxis. When we arrived he gave us lots of advice on places to visit and provided us with daily weather forecasts and tidal information Any questions we had were answered and texts responded to very quickly The yacht was very comfortable it was an older design but had everything we needed including very quiet fans which made sleeping more comfortable. The literature provided showed us good places to anchor which meant we could see the real Thailand

Great starting location once you reached it you are in paradise. Outstanding service from Raymond and team, some things I have barely seen before like the weather forecast service, docking service and helping you to get the groceries on board. Boot was good too :)

We had a fantastic experience from our original booking to handing back the boat. The booking process was simple and efficient. The Base Manager, Raymond, was super helpful in assisting with logistics in getting to and from the base and ensuring that we were comfortable with the boat. The boat was near new and clean. We received an excellent area and boat briefing upon arrival, with regular weather and tide updates. We’ve bare-boated previously and found this operation hard to beat. A big thanks to the team and we look forward to chartering again soon.
