I opted for the Recommendation of a friend and joined the city tour offered by 'Terra Quechua Peru', a local agency with an impeccable reputation. We begin our tour in Miraflores, the cosmopolitan heart of Lima. With its stunning cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Miraflores is a true sight for the senses. The views from the Love Park were simply breathtaking, especially at sunset. The Guide took us through the picturesque streets and introduced us to the rich history and culture of the city. My day in Miraflores was a perfect introduction to the diversity and liveliness of Lima, thanks to the excellent organization of 'Terra Quechua Peru'

I opted for 'Terra Quechua Peru' to capture the most photogenic corners of the city tour ne Lima. Miraflores was an excellent start, with its cliffs and sea views offering a perfect backdrop for photos. In the Historic Center, every cobblestone street and colonial building was an opportunity to capture Lima’s living history. Barranco, with its colorful murals and artistic atmosphere, was a photographic gem that I did not expect to find. I recommend this tour to any photographer who wants to capture the unique essence of Lima through their lens.

First time in Lima, I did not think much of the drive from the airport as it looked just like another weary busy city?? Our hotel was in the Miraflores district which is high on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean which at the time of year we went in May, it nearly always was misty and dull with the mist rolling in from the sea so never really got a great view of the ocean. We were near to Kennedy Park which was very vibrant and full of cats. They locals love to look after them and have little bowls of food etc and cardboard boxes for their homes! There is a small amphitheatre and some nights there is dancing to loud music which was fun. Beautiful church there to visit. Lots of restaurants and shops and it was great to go there for the few nights we were based there. Came back again to Lima before flying to Arequipa but stayed in a boutique hotel in the Barranco bohemian type area which was very different from Miraflores but still good. In Lima just off the Kennedy Park across from the ice cream parlour I had a great pisco sour at the very small bar La Tasca Bar and took advantage of their Happy Hour. On our last night in Peru after travelling around for over 3 weeks, we came back to Lima and again went to the park and my last stop at this bar for my last Pisco Sour! Fabulous.

I just returned from an amazing city tour in Lima with my family, and I can't stop recommending Terra Quechua Peru travel agency. We visited the Plaza Mayor, where we admired the Cathedral and the Government Palace, and explored the Convent of San Francisco and its catacombs. We also enjoyed the Malecon in Miraflores and tasted the delicious ceviche in a local restaurant. The attention of the agency team and the rich history we learned made this experience unforgettable, definitely worth it!

Miraflores is one of the most renowned and visited neighborhoods of Lima. Known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere, spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, high-quality restaurants and modern architecture, Miraflores is the tourist and cultural heart of the city. It is a safe and well-equipped neighborhood, perfect for both visitors and residents.

Excellent option for tourists, I would not recommend another place in Lima to stay, it has all the options to eat, have fun, rest, buy gifts and the transportation from there to the airport is excellent and cheap. It is safe and very nice. There are many exchange houses to exchange dollars along Larco Avenue.

It's a Nice Neighborhood, Not a "thing" to do. It is one of the nicest areas in Lima. It seems very safe. There are lots of Policia. Our Hotel, the Casa Andina Premium, was in Mira Flores. You can walk to the edge of the world and gaze upon the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Kennedy Park has some great restaurants and shops. Uber works great throughout. If you're staying in Lima, you stay in Mira Flores, otherwise you are taking a big risk.
