Watched Ganga aarti live from boat. Highly recommend not going in boat and watching it from outside as it might be good because most of the people were in boats rather than being present there at the ghat. So Be at Ghat. Also if you want to go in boat, do bargaining, they will reduce the fare. When i took the ride in June, they took 1000 for 7 people while the fare was 300/person.

Mesmerizing Ganga Aarti Ceremony is a once in a lifetime experience for every Hindu. There will be seating options on ghat as well as the boat are available to get the best view of the aarti. The seating arrangements on ghat is free whereas the boat seat ranges from Rs 200 to Rs 400. The boat will provide the tour through the river Ganga and introduce many ghats along with the history. The aarti is very divine spiritual and out of the world experience.

Thanks to the Russian woman, I visited probably the most colorful and unusual place in my life. The city of Varanasi in India is incredibly unusual, interesting, safe and very colorful. The excursion took two days, we were met at the airport in a comfortable car, and provided with a Russian-speaking guide who had excellent knowledge of the history, life and all the most interesting places of their city. Everyone had time and even had time for an independent walk through the streets of Varanasi and the ghats along the Ganges River, attended an evening fire show and watched the cremation procedure. Everyone should visit this city once in their life, but I definitely recommend taking a guide. It's calmer and more interesting. I would especially like to thank the head of the Russian company, Alexander, for organizing my trip, communication, advice during my stay in the country and online control of guides!

The Aarti ceremony on Dadashwamedh Ghat, known as the ceremony of light, was a mesmerizing spectacle that takes place daily at dusk. We watched it from a rooftop with a view of the ceremony. To secure a seat, one must arrive at least an hour early. Although getting to the Ghat was crowded, noisy, and confronting, it was a breathtaking experience I wouldn't have missed.

Ganga Aarti is a memorable Experience. People used to gather on the ghats at least two hours before the aarti starts for better viewing experience. Aarti is some where 45 Min Long and is a treat to watch. Ensure you have grabbed a seat before it gets too crowded. If you are there for more than a day than give it a try every evening from different location if possible you wont regret it, Memorable

After the various ghats located along the Ganges River by boat, we stopped here to watch the Aarthi Ceremony. There were 6 priests that participated, chanting in unison and offering various gifts to the Goddess. There are places to sit down, watching the back of the priests. Note that they turn around , however, and face those seated behind them during the ceremony. People watching infront of the priests do not have places to sit down. Dasaswamedh can be called the main ghat where most people are concentrated, between worshippers and tourists. Countless boats depart from here for the Ganges river rides and in the evening the most followed Ganga Aarti ceremony takes place. At dawn many Hindus gather for purification baths.

This is the holiest of all the ghats. Well worth a visit. We went in the day and walked along. We came back at night and took a boat to watch the ceremony. This is a must do with many many boats crammed together.
