The visit to the Museum is very nice, the place is huge, it is possible to stay there for hours. There are several rooms and art scattered by tents and corridors. The exhibition we found brought reflections on sustainable future, with a focus on awareness, rooms, panels, screens, interactive tents, and a friendly robot... The visit is worth R$ 30,00, but on Tuesdays the entrance is free (if you don't mind the crowds, it's all right).

What an amazing place. Although tickets are also sold online, I suggest you buy them on the spot if you are doing several tours on the same day and are not sure what time you will arrive at the location. Entries happen every hour (Example: 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, etc). Visit the website for more details. As soon as you enter the main hall, you will see the totems on your right side. They accept credit cards as a form of payment. Santander customers pay half price (R$15.00). You did not need to present any proof for this ticket at the entrance. Start the visit on the second floor, then visit the first floor and then the outside. The photos in the water mirror are beautiful. And once you access the outside (water mirror), there is no way to access the museum again. I entered the museum at 2pm and ended this tour at 3:45pm. Leaving the museum on foot, walk to the right for about 15 minutes, I saw the Mural das Etnias painted by the renowned Eduardo Kobra. I returned along the same route, until I saw the Museum of Tomorrow again. I went to the Rio Art Museum - MAR which is in the same square (1 hour visit), then to Mac Donald's and the São Bento Monastery. All these points are close to each other. See the evaluation of each one separately.

New museum that invites reflection on the macrocosm and microcosm. In an entertaining way and with games we can become aware of the impact of our actions on our planet. There are also varied games to understand phenomena of nature. All in English, Spanish and Portuguese. I went with my older daughters of 15 and 17 years and I will surely go back to my younger children of 13 and 7 years to live this experience if I return to Rio. On Tuesdays admission is free and the other days only 30 reais and children up to 18 years old have half. I suggest to allocate at least 3 hours to have a complete experience. Nice gift shop, they also have cafeteria but I didn't visit it.

The excellent Museum of Tomorrow is located in Plaza Mauá in the Rio de Janeiro Port region, which also has other good tourist attractions, such as the neighbouring Museum of Art (which unfortunately I could not know), the Aquarium and the Giant Roda. It is a very exhibitive museum with information about the world of science. I did not consider the space very interactive. The visiting area is basically on the upper floor, on two large wings. At the bottom are the box office and the store with various products available for purchase. There is a VLT stop specific to the museums of Mauá Square, which is quite busy and apparently safe.

This was amazing even if we didn't understand Portuguese for the initial video (where you lie on the floor. It's basic evolution of life video. The other displays have English. lots of visual exhibits about sustainability , environment, population growth etc.... On your way back there are lots of hands on exhibits. Good place to kill a few hrs. It's an Architectual marvel. The best part was if you are over 60 yr its FREE (need passport or ID). Students are only 15 Reals. So it was a very cheap attraction for us. To get there just take a uber there or if doing downtown RIO (steps, cathedral, reading room, mkt) then its an easy walk to the harbor. Note the worlds largest murals are 8 min walk afterwards. Don't miss Downtown RIO (most people only do beach and cristo sugarloaf.

I've visited the Museum of Tomorrow a few times and they were all sensational. I really like the theme that the museum proposes, despite being something forward, that is, for the future or tomorrow. Not only is there a focus on a precise area like science or history to talk about, but yes, about all topics. The museum values approaching the past to understand what actions were considered future or present at a given moment in space and time. Both my family and I love visiting. Next time I plan to go back with friends!

This was an incredible museum for sure, and there are many interactive displays packed with tons of facts and figures, to make learning fun. However to be honest, it was a bit of overload to me, I couldn't process so much information and I got brain-freeze after awhile. This is a perfect place to get small doses, perhaps only an hour or two at most, and keep coming back to experience more.

Environment as a whole is great and the attractions that has in the museum of tomorrow are great, has a lot of information and interaction, I have been a few times and I couldn't absorb everything that has. The space where there was the show was the first time I was, I loved it! Air conditioned, comfortable chairs and excellent acoustics.

The Museum of Tomorrow, opened in 2015, is a different museum because from the past you are invited to imagine the future. From the current transformations and through immersive audiovisual environments, interactive installations and games is an invitation to imagine possible scenarios for the next 50 years. The museum is a space cm educational activities and also has a Laboratory of experiences in innovation and an Observatory and services to the public (café, restaurant and store). A highlight is also the beautiful and bold architecture of the museum (from the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava).

If there were more "Museums of Tomorrow" the world would certainly have a better Tomorrow. The museum is a spectacle, from its perspectives and approaches, its architecture and collection, its reflections and proposals, to its innovative idea of the Museum concept... Absolutely unmissable.
