This architectural wonder looks like an enormous lotus blossom, reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House. Too bad the interior isn't even worth a look.

Very nice visit to this temple transcending all religions so as to be under on roof a place to pray for ALL religions. Took my associates from Five Iron Golf India to Delhi and included this on our stop. To include this I recommend, particularly on a Sunday, that everyone start their itinerary early in the morning to avoid all crowds.

interestingly shaped , enormous hindu temple in well manicured parklands. The white lotus temple is beautiful against the blue sky background, and the green lawns and red roses accentuate its brightness. The queue to go inside is excessive, but a smaller queue allows you to walk through the gardens and view the temple from a distance. The giant ISKCON buddhist temple can be seen from here also Both are quite a long way off the tourist route but doable if you are on a tour.

A very good temple to visit. However, there was no real atmosphere at all.  They make you take your shoes, then carry them around in a bag, even into the temple. Seems a pointless approach. You go in and sit on the church style stall for a few minutes and then walk out. The garden are well maintained. I was a little disappointed with the visit. There is no fee to visit the temple and the queues were less than a few minutes.

First of I really liked the the structure of the temple just like Lotus. This temple is open for all regardless of the religion. The temple has nine doors opening to a central hall. It has won numerous architectural awards. You will feel very relaxed here with sense of calmness within.

This temple is very beautiful and worth visiting while you're in Delhi. It is very quiet and peaceful inside. Placing our shoes and the long que outside took too long and was a bit annoying but we're unsure if this happens everyday.

What a beautiful temple. Please note, your shoes must be returned and then you can enter the temple over the cold floor. Definitely do, because it's a magisterial structure. Very impressive. Lots of people so keep in mind that everything goes at a slow pace

My family accompanied me to the Lotus Temple located in New Delhi, and it was an unforgettable moment. It is interesting to note that the temple's design is a lotus flower, which radiates peace and is said to symbolize harmony. Architect Fariborz Sahba, known for his calm interiors, which instantly put people at ease, built it in 1986. The gorgeous, well-maintained gardens surrounding the temple enriched the temple's peace. It also encourages inclusivity by allowing people of all religions to use the temple, which is what impressed us the most about the temple. Although it was nighttime and the insides of the temple were untouchable, the outside of the very brightly lit temple was an enjoyable sight. Whether people admire the architecture or its spiritual nature or want to relax, the temple is a landmark everyone should see in New Delhi.

Captivating - from the outside it's a striking resemblance to a lotus flower that is in bloom. It is holy ground so you take your shoes off and they are placed in a locker. Once you pass the huge body of water towards the temple you wait in line to enter. Be prepared to wait. Inside the temple are rows of seats and the ceiling and wall areas are bare. Peaceful, tranquil and time for prayer or meditation.

Reviewing the reviews, I see that they describe it as an Indu temple and it is not, it is of the Bahai Faith. I recommend visiting the website so that we have more information, you can reach by metro (it is next to 2 stations). it is a wonderful architectural gem, the interior is sober and majestic, the exterior is radiant together with its beautiful gardens

From the look of it, was amazing the whole temple was built in a shape of Lotus. When you go inside there is a prayer room in that room you feel very peaceful, I liked the way they asked me join the prayer. it was literally spiritual, the surroundings of the temple is was maintained
