My 28 year old son was intrigued by the looks of this very cool looking kind of spooky old house. He tasted and enjoyed the wines. The wines are a little pricey for our budget at $90 starting per bottle and we felt a little like we were being sold but the tasting came with some nibbles and per my son the wine was good. The house is interesting inside going from light to dark representing good vs evil the story of Faust.

We visited Faust Wines at the recommendation of the concierge at Solage and ordered the picnic lunch. We arrived and were met by Derek. He was very friendly, showed us to a very nice table for two on the patio and poured an outstanding Sauvignon blanc. He gave us a history of Faust wines and talked about the wines we’d be tasting. He brought the picnic lunch in a black lunch box (it has to match the house!). Over the course of 90 minutes we tasted a Syrah, Pinot and a Cabernet. Long story short we really enjoyed the Faust Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc the best! The day was perfect! A slight breeze, a tasty and unhurried lunch, great views overlooking the hills and vineyards and a great host (Derek). We’re in Napa quite often and haven’t joined a wine club. We joined the Faust club!

We loved everything about our tasting experience. The day of our tasting it was very hot so instead of being outside they put us in the basement tasting room that was beautiful and cooler. We are more red/cab drinkers and that’s what our tasting involved. It was nice that they gave you a small snack to nibble on. We got a very informative overview of the history of Faust. Would highly recommended if you’re in Napa.
