Two days of fun but parks not as good as used to be
We were only in Orlando for one week of a 3 week trip to Florida and never get to do everything we would like to fit in but a visit to both of these parks has always been a must do for us when in Orlando, one day each side. We did have fun but some of the rides have become quite 'clunky' and not smooth any longer and some areas are looking a bit tired to be honest since our last visit 4 years ago. Several of us ended up with headaches and one even had neck pain for several days afterwards...we have never had that after prior visits. However we did enjoy a butter beer in both sides Harry Potter areas!
Hi there! We appreciate your review! I'll be sure to share your comments regarding attraction quality with the proper leadership teams. If you would like to discuss your visit further, please contact our Guest Services Department at 407-224-4233 or via email at GuestServices@universalorlando.com and reference your review username. We look forward to seeing you again soon, and I suggest seeing The Bourne Stuntacular on your next visit! - Emily

    A Surprise 18th Birthday Trip
We had a 14-day ticket, so we visited lots of times and days. We found the early morning visits were better, and we got all the big rides completed before it got too busy. Can't fault Universal it has everything and more. It's a shame the parades have been taken off as it was a good way to see all the characters in one place rather than trying to find them all around the parks. All rides were great, and the shows were incredible. Universal always pulls a big ride out, and they really have, I just love Jurassic Park. A M A Z I N G For some reason, everyone loves to queue, even when it's not necessary. Just use your brain. That's why we all have one! There are plenty of water fountains, and you can use the water from the Coke machines around the park.
Hi Wendy. Thank you for your review. I am thrilled that you enjoyed your visit to Universal Studios Florida. Aren't our attractions just amazing? I love how immersive they are. I am sorry to hear of any disappointment regarding our entertainment experiences, and please be assured that your feedback has been formally documented and will be reviewed by the proper leadership teams. Make sure you check out E.T. Adventure during your next visit, it is my favorite! I hope you will visit us again soon. - Victoria

    A day well spent
Visit universal studio with teens and children and must say that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day. Apart from amazing VR and roller coasters, we were impressed with how well the park is designed. There were signboards and water fountains throughout the park which were big help in navigating and staying hydrated! All the rides were amazing and worth waiting in line. Each ride gave different experiences. A day well spent with pleasant memories!
Hi Mili, Thank you for your amazing review! We are thrilled that you spend a wonderful day along with your family in our Park. We are always striving to create the best possible experience for our Guests, so I am so happy to hear you were able to navigate our Park easily, making it a smooth visit. Great fun great park
Had an amazing time here. The rides are all a lot of fun. Plenty of food and drink outlets. Feels like it’s aimed for teens / adults which suited us fine. Fast passes were really expensive though so we didn’t buy them.
Hi there, Thank you for your review! I'm so happy to hear you had a blast visiting our Park and that you enjoyed everything we have to offer. While I am sorry to hear of any disappointment our Universal Express Pass pricing may have caused, I am glad you were able to experience many of our exciting Attractions. During your next visit, I highly recommend heading over to our Universal Volcano Bay park! Many of our Attractions operate on a Virtual Line, meaning you spend less time standing by, and more time splashing around or relaxing around our beautiful Waturi Beach. We hope to see you soon! -Laura

    Best Theme Park in Orlando
What a great park and much better than the Disney Parks. Universal certainly know how to ensure a great day out. It was not too busy and there were plenty of seating areas. Loved that you could get your water bottle filled for free along with ice at the many drinks self service stations. Disney could learn a lot from this park on how to ensure visitors have the best experience. Queues were not to long and all in air conditioned environments. Absolutely loved the Bourne Spectacular 3D attraction. This was amazing. The Harry Potter section was excellent.A great day out and highly recommend.
Hi there, Thank you for this review! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit with us, as well as that you were able to experience our attractions with minimal wait times. Great time had by all
Family holiday with teenagers - great rides in particular Hagrids Motorcycle adventure , Velocicoaster, Gringotts, Hulk and the Mummy. Bourne Spectacular show worth a look .Food much better than Disney photo package however a big let down compared to Disney where there were roaming photographers all over the place only saw one in Universal and wouldn’t waste the money on the package next time. Wait times manageable didn’t need to buy an Express pass ( fast pass) - good job as price quoted in excess of $850 dollars for one day for a family of 4 in early July . Paid off staying in a Universal hotel as that gave us early entry to Islands of Adventure . Food outlets on City Walk very good.
Hi there, Thank you for your review and for sharing your fun experience with us! We're always so happy to hear of the amazing times families have at our resort! While I am sorry to hear you were unable to enjoy your My Universal Photos package to the fullest, I hope you were able to get some awesome pictures from your Attraction experiences! I love looking back at my photos from Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit whenever I ride it. We hope to welcome you back again soon! -Laura

Great park, but express pass was not worth it in July
This was our third visit to Universal Studios (I will only be talking about this park - Islands of Adventure has a separate review) and we had high expectations. We have always enjoyed our time at this park. Now, July is hot. And muggy. And busy. Summer vacation crowds a plenty, with large groups of kids/teens as well. We bought an express unlimited pass and honestly it didn’t seem worth it as for a lot of the rides the wait time was similar to or the same as the standard lines. The exception to this was Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and Revenge of the Mummy, which were under 10mins. Express passes in July are expensive, and I feel like there should be a cap on the number of passes available for each day. The lines were simply too long for the amount paid, with some being 40+mins. Diagon Alley is amazing, a must-see for all, not just wizarding world fans. Order a Butterbeer or Pumpkin Juice for a real treat. The attention to detail is great, and there are a lot of photo opportunities and interactive displays. If you come at the right time, the dragon will breathe fire! Plan for the heat and sun accordingly - pack a hat & sunglasses, sunscreen and water. There are plenty of drink stands and eateries around, with frozen and cold drinks always available. Prices are pretty standard for a theme park. Pro: the rides! Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts & Revenge of the Mummy cannot be missed. The Simpsons section is also very amusing and fun. Con: it was very busy. Lots of crowds and high wait times for rides. Even with the express pass we didn’t go on a few rides due to the wait times. Tip: if the weather forecast predicts lightning during the day, try to do all the outdoor rides first, as you can do the indoor activities/rides during the storm. Take away: I will be coming back to this park, just not in July.
Hi Katie, Thank you so much for sharing this review with us! I'm glad to see you enjoyed some of our attractions, although I do apologize for your disappointment with the Universal Express Pass and for the crowds you encountered during this visit. I hope we can welcome you back for an even better experience in the future, and encourage exploring the amazing theme park benefits included with reservations at the Universal Hotels. -Chrisy

    We love Universal
This was our second visit to Universal. The last visit was in 2018. We loved it so much we knew we had to come back. We were lucky enough to have Express passes. If you can afford them, we recommend you get these as it enhances your experience. The horror make up show was awesome....so funny...a great way to spend half an hour and learn about horror movie make up. We visited on Tuesday the 18th of July 2023 and it was not as busy as our first visit back in May 2018. This made us have more time to explore. Great to bump in to Paul from Manchester who works as a porter on the Hogwarts express. He was a top guy and really gets the Universal ethos and his customer service was exceptional. The Gringotts ride is still one of my favourites and I hope we can visit again. Universal provide amazing days out and experiences and we love visiting. We hope to be back
Hey again! Thank you so much for another 5 star review! It's wonderful to see how much you love and enjoy our parks! I'm so happy you enjoyed one of my favorite shows, Universal Orlando's Horror Make-Up Show, and that Paul filled your journey between our parks with enchantments. I can't wait to welcome you back to the Universe again soon, and encourage checking into the Universal Hotels for some wonderful theme park benefits to enhance your next trip around the globe with us! -Chrisy

    Universal Studios Amazing Park
Universal Studios is also such an amazing, thrill seeking park. They always have new rides, new adventures. It is also worth every penny spent. You never get tired of going there. Velocicoaster and the Bourne attraction were great, amazing, awesome. Can't wait to go back.
Hi Maria! Wow - thank you for this amazing review from your most recent visit! I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed your trip with us. Isn't The Bourne Stuntacular so intense?!
