The Mob Museum is worth visiting at least once. You don't get to see a museum of this type often in the world, namely, a museum talking about gangsters, how it started in the USA, how law enforcements, intelligence, and government handled it in the past with some real examples. Washington DC's Spy Museum has a bit of reminisce. They are both good and educational museums to visit. The museum used to be an old US post office, a historical landmark. You can purchase tickets online or on the spot, the process was easy and straightforward. Staff were all friendly and helpful in providing directions and answering questions. The self-guided tour/visit starts from the third floor, and you work your way down to the first floor. They also have guest speakers who used to be part of the gang members to speak, the information desk can share the schedule, as it varies daily. They also have optional interactive experiences which you have to pay extra for. I did not have time to participate, so can't comment on them. It's an informational, educational, and interesting museum. It's located within walking distance of the Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas area. There is a parking lot right outside and a parking garage across the street. Budget 3 hours so you are not rushed if you want to see and experience everything thoroughly.

We pre booked our tickets (inc audio) whilst still in the UK. We booked the classic tour at a reduced price (start visit anytime between 9 - 11am). We spent approx 4hrs going around the 4 floors of exhibits which was really informative about Las Vegas and the mob in general over the years. Thankfully there was a great little cafe in the 2nd floor so we could recharge before continuing with our tour. The staff were really friendly and engaging and we were fortunate that on the day we visited, there was a fantastic talk by a gentleman (Frank Calabrese Jnr) who explained about his family's involvement with the mob. Highly recommend as great value for money 😀

We really wanted to see this museum and we were not disappointed. We took an Uber from the Wynn. We bought just basic tickets for the museum. There were other choices, but we decided this would be enough for us. It was quite busy and lighting not the best. Some parts were more interesting than others, but the building is historical, and the exhibits were good. Lots of history of the city and famous people. We spent about 2 hours then walked to Fremont Street not far from the museum. It's a nice way to spend a couple of hours away from the strip.

Interesting museum in Vegas; has more in it than you'd expect. A nice way to do something besides casinos and shopping. Just too bad you have to pay for parking in an adjacent public parking lot. We did not pay extra to do any of the add-on exhibits.

I had heard good things about the Mob Museum for years, and now I know why! The exhibits are interesting and informational, and so well laid-out that it’s easy to spend two or three hours browsing without even realizing it. Don’t miss the original Saint Valentine's Day Massacre wall on the third floor, the video production inside the the historic courtroom on the second floor, and the amazing gift shop on the first floor. We’ll definitely be back to check out the speakeasy in the basement!

I had an awesome time here. I love the mini movies, artifacts, pictures, and even the ole’skool speakeasy. I was able to go at my own pace and taken everything around me. There’s sooo much information, you almost feel like an expert by the time you leave.

Had no idea what to expect but this tour was highly recommended by several locals so we went. What a great museum!Very interactive and informative. Learned not only about the Mob & Vegas but about the history of Mobs in American and how they got started. Great collection of artifacts from some of the most notorious gangsters. Many photos of murdered mob members and very graphic too. If you bring a young child, beware some the images are a bit disturbing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We followed a recommendation from someone, thinking nothing of it. I thought it was amazing, and I really like the interactive elements like the picture-taking feature and the exhibits. I also enjoyed how they featured more contemporary gangs and cartels.
