I came here to view the April 2024 eclipse, and I couldn't have picked a better viewing location. I loved the peaceful zen of the Japanese garden as the sky went dark. The sculpture garden, near the entrance, also provided a contemplative, calming environment during the first phases of the eclipse. I also enjoyed the display of Texas flora and fauna. While the eclipse was a once-in-a-lifetime event, I'd gladly recommend the Botanic Garden for any visit to Fort Worth.

We went on a Monday. It wasn't too crowded, but it was very hot. It's a beautiful garden. But they don't have printed maps to give out. You just have to use your phone and it was very frustrating. There is a little restaurant that we thought about eating at but the atmosphere was very lacking and menu unappealing.

Took out of town relatives to see the Botanic gardens. On a Wednesday afternoon, it was not crowded at all. Due to the early time in the season, the variety of flora was limited, but there were tulips everywhere. The walk through the Japanese Garden ws still enjoyable and good exercise! The bonus to the whole visit was the butterfly exhibit! An enclosed pavilion with a variety of butterflies from around the tropics. There was an extra charge, but well worth it. Stay for 15 minutes or an hour. There is no pressure to leave. Plan on several hours to take it all in.

This is a great place to spend a few hours. In our case, we got there mid-morning on a Saturday before it got crowded. The gardens are tranquil and relaxing. And don't forget to see the greenhouse attached to the main building. The exterior gardens are amazing, but the greenhouse was the cherry on top.

Beautiful way to spend your afternoon meandering in the warm outdoors. There are ponds and little waterfalls, and quite a few shady areas to rest in. Took us 1 hour and 45 minutes to walk the whole thing, and we stopped to take a lot of pictures! We walked 2.5 K
