    Urban Paradise
Central Park is like a breath of fresh air in the middle of the city chaos. It's got everything—cool spots to chill, pretty paths to wander, and tons of green to soak in. Whether you're up for a lazy afternoon picnic or just want to people-watch by the Bethesda Fountain, Central Park's got that chill vibe that makes you forget you're in the heart of NYC. It's like nature's little secret right in the middle of the urban jungle. Highly recommend taking a break from the concrete jungle and soaking in some Central Park vibes!
Dear 792maddieb, Thank you for your fantastic review of Central Park! We're so glad you enjoyed our little oasis of green in the heart of the city. We invite you to come back soon for another dose of relaxation and natural beauty.

Massive - plan quite a few hours!
We visited in January in the snow. We have been before in Autumn and in December and it is lovely in both seasons. We watched the ice skating, wandered down The Mall, saw the frozen lakes, pottered around Strawberry Fields and still didn't see more than half of it. We also decided to do a carriage ride this time being as it was snowing. It was good but we were told it was $140 for 45 minutes but we only had about 30 minutes which was a bit cheeky but it was still nice to see the park from a different perspective.

    Oasis of NYC
It's an oasis of the busy city. Still plenty of people but you can find areas where there are not so much. Like the trails north of the park. We went through here from the Museum of Natural History on our way back to our hotel in Time Square. We were surprised to see the trail barely anyone! So serene in the midst of the city. To get to these wonderful spots, you will have to really look and find it. You cannot just happen to pass by it if you go to Central Park as the park is soooo huge.

    The Eternal New York
Central Park is a New York thing. You can’t get enough of it. Been travelling for years to NY I thought of penning my thoughts on this. Imagine by John Lennon - Mosaic This park spans 2.5 acres and is vast. It does not need any introduction you can always visit there and feel it still unexplored. It grows on you. When in NY be in Central Park. Something for the other keeps happening here, pure Nostalgia. It’s not just a regular park. It’s the Central Park in New York.

    Victory Park
This time I went in winter and, leaving aside some meadows that are still slightly snow-covered, it doesn't have the same beauty that can be seen in spring. I wanted to travel it from the south to get to the large lake and I think it is the most varied and interesting part. Here is also the area sadly famous for the death of John Lennon. I found the smaller lake frozen but the numerous presence of squirrels for which I recommend bringing some food. They are not shy at all and will come and take it in their hands. In the central part, to cross it, I had to travel along a stretch of dirt road full of puddles and mud, so I recommend following an alternative road. However, the park always has its enormous charm and is a green lung that is absolutely worth visiting, although taking into account that it is an outdoor attraction, I strongly advise against doing so in bad weather.

    Spend the time to explore
Lovely to spend time to wander and see things in this park we hadn't on other visits. Just bear in mind when walking through this large park the lack of toilets.. and don't ask a park ranger.. not the best customer service to direct you to one... But it was wonderful to see Bethesda Fountain and the beautiful mosaic tunnel with the entertainment ... truly a beautiful park in a hustle and bustle city.

    Strawberry fields
I’ve been here a few times on different trips over from London & each time I’ve seen something different, it’s huge! Years ago we did the zoo & ice rink, this time I visited Strawberry fields as I was with a Beatles fan. It was beautiful… the imagine mosaic, the buskers singing Beatles songs, sitting in the sun we sat for a couple of hours listening. Was free & actually one of my favourite highlights of my trip.
