- Cindy S1 contributionBest part of our trip to Savannah! Our tour guide Luna was fantastic. She didn’t try to sell the ghosts, she gave a really good presentation on the history of the house and the family. She then let us experience the house. We did hear footsteps walking above us and the basement, that basement was so so creepy. You just feel like something is watching you down there. We had a small party of girls and really enjoyed ourselves.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten March 2, 2024
- SewardAKSeward, Alaska55 contributionsA great tour heavy on the folklore and did a good job minimizing the disproven stories of the past.We took this tour as one of five different ghost tours in three different cities. It was very interesting. Full disclosure is that we had heard a radio story about the truthfulness of this tour. We were plesantly satisfied to learn that the tour has been modified to be more truthful and honest. The guide was very good, provided a great experience and was not 'over the top' with hyperbolic stories - but focused on folklore and reasonably discussed stories and a great experience. It was a bit expensive but one of the top two tours we took on this ghost hunting adventure!Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten March 17, 2024
- Camilla D1 contributionSpooky and memorable while honoring historyMy wife and I attended the 13+ ghost tour on the 21st, and it was so much fun. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the house, both in its history and its ghosts, and she made the experience so memorable and enjoyable. It was evident that she really loves her job, and loves the property. She shared her own experiences in the house, and backed it up with history, accounts, and evidence. She also didn’t make you feel silly for experiencing something, and encouraged us to explore! It was spooky, creepy, informative, and my wife and I cannot stop talking about our experience and telling everyone we know about the ghost tour. It was definitely a highlight of our vacation, and we’re so appreciative of being allowed to explore this slice history in Savannah! Say hello to Little Matilda for us, and be sure to play a round of hide and seek before you leave!Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten March 22, 2024
- Mark A2 contributionsRecommend the lock-inWe did the Paranormal Lock-in on Thursday night, March 21st. The guide was awesome, she was very engaged and gave us a great run-down of the property. As she walked us through the rooms, she also demonstrated some of the equipment they offer along with the 2-hour block of investigating. There were a total of seven of us, and we were able to break down into three smaller groups and do the investigating on our own. That to me was the draw of this, as we didn’t want to do some cheesy walking tour with somebody who was simply getting paid to pretend to be into it. This was the real deal. And no joke, the place is legit haunted. The time flew by, and I wish they offered the entire night…we’d pay! All in all, a great experience that we highly recommend. Bring your own gear if you want to, though they have most everything (no night vision cameras). Well worth the money, and we’ll be back to do it again someday soon.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten March 23, 2024
- Allie DCincinnati, Ohio9 contributionsI recommend visiting this house and doing the historical tour (not the ghost tours).I would recommend touring this house, not on a ghost tour but just a regular house tour. I did the ghost tour last year and the regular house tour is much better. The ghost tour just told silly stories trying to scare you. The house itself has a great history and great architecture and it is definitely worth seeing. Our tour guide Marcia did a great job describing the former owners, the period back then and the architectural items in the house that were noteworthy. I highly recommend her and the tour.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten March 25, 2024
- belinda mPortsmouth, United Kingdom657 contributionsInteresting house historic tourWe chose the house tour not the ghost tour as we only had the day before our flight back home. We had walked past the night before and the guy was locking up and stopped us to ask us if we had done a tour and sold it to us to come back the next day. We arrived just at the right time the next day before a tour started and had the best guide who was so informative, really friendly and interesting to listen too. As we were a small group and all flying out that day she did give us a few ghost stories which was cool. The history of the property was very interesting especially with all the new historic details recently uncovered.Visited March 2024Travelled with friendsWritten March 27, 2024
- Karen FColumbus, Ohio61 contributionsGreat ghost investigation and experience. We were very fortunate to do a ghost investigation while in Savannah. Aubrey is such a great guide and provided lots of insight before we began. We had a spirit interaction in the basement purporting to bd a child spirit. That was really intriguing. But just the opportunity to be wandering around this beautiful home was well worth the trip. A few other experiences were had by our group as well. If you’re into investigating the paranormal, I highly recommend a stop here.Visited March 2024Travelled with friendsWritten April 1, 2024
- Rebecca ASeattle, Washington155 contributionsSpend the Evening Exploring a Haunted HouseWe participated in the After-Hours Paranormal Investigation with Evelyn and Toby. It was fantastic! Evelyn gave a great overview of the house's history, the spirits known to inhabit each space on the investigation, and the equipment we used. Our kids interacted with a couple of spirits through the spirit box, divination pendulum, and dowsing rods. It was creepy and interesting to explore the house after hours with only a few people in the house. If you are interested in exploring the paranormal and unknown, this is for you!Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten April 6, 2024
- Livia BrannockLouisville, Kentucky55 contributionsExcellent Paranormal TourAubrey (Amber, Ashley, etc.) was a great paranormal tour guide! In my opinion the house is absolutely haunted. We were given some history of the house and then given some time to investigate on our own! I can't stress enough how great this experience was!Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten April 14, 2024
- Karen E1 contributionI was touchedThis house is haunted!!! We actually visited when my children were in high school, now they are 36 & 42. In the basement my daughter & I were standing in the back, left of the snake. My hair was pulled. I looked & found no cobwebs. Soon after, something poked me in the butt. I turned around, nobody behind me!! I wany to go back!!!Visited May 2023Travelled with familyWritten April 16, 2024
