My wife who wouldn’t dream of going to see a WWE wrestling event back home humored me and joined me at the 730 show. We stood in line with people from Toronto Canada, New York and Caguas Puerto Rico. The tickets were 140 pesos which is about eight dollars US. We had fairly decent seats and the performance itself is...
"An authentic Mexican Pop Culture Gem. My favorite funky museum!"
reviewed February 13, 2020 by AnechaTravel
Bring your camera and be prepare to take hundreds of pics! An Instagramer dream if you like funky stuff. The museography is super creative and original and the family story behind the project deserves its own documentary! Terrace is not always open but if it is, you should take a look too. Grafittis and urban art and great views of...
"Similar to the Museum of Torture - different and a little gruesome "
reviewed 4 weeks ago by howardxp1
I’d have given it 4 stars but it needs a little maintenance and upgrading. One must listen to a prerecorded audio for each station. You should ask how to forward fast in case you want to jump ahead.
The torture techniques devised by the Catholic priests is beyond imagination. Hard to believe this went on for hundreds of years!
Very authentic filled with only locals. Rustic and minimal decor with a lot of age on the place and the owner sitting in the corner greeting regulars and whilst cooking the books.....my kind of place. Almost every table orders their famous Chamorros. I pig leg the size of your head, offered bone in or bone out. We went bone in...
The place has free valet parking, is big but warm, the food is very tasty but the service is outstanding. You can see known customers arriving here and being treated like family. Just for that you will return here. And they have mariachis in the weekends (really good).
Best octopus in town. They have a dedicated guy from Galicia who prepares the best octopus. The menu has an excellent variety of traditional Spanish plates coupled with cantina type dishes. Service is familiar and efficient. Wine list is short but with good features. Mariachi adds an incredible touch.
I called for a Father's Day reservation for three persons
And they told to me that they only make
Reservation for 6 persons only.
I said them that my father doesn't walk well
Because he lives with Parkinson's .
And I ask them for special reservation for him.
Their answer was: he needs to wait like every ones.
We were brought here as a part of a tour we took with arbnb, it was a part of a lucha libre tour. We only stayed for about 45 minutes, they served us pulque and beers. The live music was very good. and it was cool to see the locals dancing and enjoying the afternoon
The neighborhood is not the greatest, in terms of looks, but we walked from Catalina night and day to the town center and never had problems, just day to day people and one busy street with lots of traffic. It's a 15 min walk to the main center (Zacola) Can't beat the budget for what you get. Although the Elevator,...
I came to this hotel at my mom's insistence and while I was a little cautious because it didn't have a lot of reviews, I left gladly surprised. It's basically a motel and you pay every night (25dls or less when I was there). The rooms are quite big for a hotel in the downtown area and are pretty cold...
Jan 2013 - Except no aircon, there is nothing to complain about. Very well equiped, great room service /I recommend Pechuga di Pollo/, 24/7 guarded hotel, the front desk will arrange a secure taxi to drive out and in - because of an "wild" surround we were not able to go by foot after 17 o'clock /5 p.m/. During the...
"Emergency reservation and terrible service; thanks to Expedia Got the room we paid for!"
reviewed October 17, 2019 by travel_advisor44
Arriving late after some problem we took the hotel on Expedia.
Reception would not accept the reservation until I called Expedia help number (most recomendable service!). Then rude and slow treatment, but we got the room.
Conclusion: Incompetent and rude staff!
Firstly I will go to the worst part, we were laying in bed at 12am about to go to sleep when our door opens and a random man walks in as he had a key to our door! he quickly realised we were in there and slams the door shut! I open again to find him smickering to then say...
