Known for its constant cultural and gastronomic developments, Roma, is a beautiful neighborhood that was once the place for poets such as Kerouac and Ginsberg to call home. Galleries, museums and even private residences are on beautiful display when walking through Colima street to do some necessary shopping or when going to the classic Cine Tonalá to enjoy a delicious dinner and a great film. Top notch cafés, gourmet restaurants and food markets all around will surely catch your senses by surprise.
We stumbled upon Mercado while visiting Parque Mexico on Sunday afternoon. Most of the restaurants in the neighbourhood were still closed so we decided to eat here and we are glad that we made that decision. This is a really cool upmarket food hall with several food vendors to choose from that all serve great food. There is a seating...

This is one of the places that you can go again and again, the service, the place, the food is always consistent - whatever you order will always be at its point!
The place is very cozy, the music, the view, the staff, the gardens - worth to go and more than anything in any special occasion when you look...
This is a small museum located on Calle Colima in the beautiful heart of trendy Roma. In an Art Nouveau building on this tree-lined street, the Museum houses a collection of graphic and industrial arts objects that come from daily life. Temporary exhibitions show objects collected by Bruno Newman.
I enjoyed MODO's well-curated current exhibition, "¿Qué te tomas?" It explores...
I was not sure what to expect, but was blown away by the deep connections, memories, thoughts it triggered in me. Thank you sensarma for opening my senses and reminding me how important it is to take a moment to analyze our emotions, feelings and sensations. I experienced their new play ''colours'' as well as ''Cantos'' both were very different....
Very nice setting, crowded and popular. Some locals amongst the tourists. Attentive service. Excellent pork with very nice black sauce; rissotto w beef tongue was also very tasty. Very good bread sticks (w cheese). Enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food.
One of the finest dining experiences in Mexico and in Mexico City. The food menu was eclectic with lots of choices as was the drink menu. The food was delectable and the service was attentive. The atmosphere was casual and easy. Definitely recommended. Will go back.
Should be 3.5 rating…
Service 7/10 (slow and forgetful)
Food portion 8/10 (difficult to share)
Taste 9/10 (good not excellent)
Price-value 8/10 (just bit overpriced)
Food presentation 8/10 (regular not exciting)
Decor ambiance 7/10 (dark lighting, uncomfortable seating)
Worth trying and won’t break the bank, I was not wowed but will return!
We decide to spend the night in a nice and centric place. We arrived without reservation, everything goes right. Each friend ask for different dishes and we were delighted, after dinner we stayed for some drinks and the ambience was very cool. Definitely I have to return very soon.
this is not a cheap place to stay in but its worth every coin you will ever spend.La Valise made our trip to Mexico City extra amazing and it's probably one of the best places we've stayed in during the course of our holiday. we loved the fact that there are only 3 (or even 4) rooms in this hotel...
Beautiful hotel with tons of charm, the rooms were comfortable and modern.. The service was excellent, the staff is extremely friendly and take care of you like you are family. The location was walking distance from some of the best restaurants. Highly recommend it.
Very nice all around. Good attentive staff. Because it is presumably business-oriented, it has good prices at Christmas/New Years season for us vacationers. Great location for walking, restaurants, bars.
We contacted the hotel prior to our arrival and the hotel staff promptly responded to our email and honored our request for a room on an upper floor. Check-in was done very quickly, and we were provided with information about the neighborhood and how to access main attractions. We found the hotel has great friendly and helpful staff and offers...
This hotel sells itself as a bit of a trendy hotel and it’s not too far off the money. The biggest problem we faced was that because of the walls being so thin, when music was being played upstairs in the bar area, we heard it loud and clear which wasn’t ideal when trying to sleep.
Other than that, there...
