Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.

One of the best places to relax in Montreal. Nice theater for kids. Nice playground too. You will not be disturbed, as of now, by people trying to sell you all kinds of stuff. A must if you visit or live in Montreal
We loved wandering this area - we kept ending up back here for meals or drinks on a patio. The people watching was fantastic, there was so much to see in such a small area. Great deals to be had for food and drink - happy hours and tons of patios right on the edge of the street. We will...
"One of the best restaurants I've been to in Canada"

A truly amazing experience. The atmosphere is utterly lovely, with the kitchen in full view and a collection of eclectic art on the walls. The food is delicious, each single bite a treat. The service is both welcoming and informative, the perfect balance of assistance and privacy.
Wow, the food was so different then what you find out there. Simple menu - we have all eaten lobster, lamb or duck before, but what they do here is different. They combine different vegetables, herbs and fruits to make something special. Plus their use of interesting ceramic stoneware plates, bowls, cups etc. add to the dining experience. The mushrooms,...
This place is always packed.. With no reservation we were lucky to get a table.
The service the food from start to finish was great. Everybody treats you so nice like we were regulars. I can not understand how anyone could not rate this place a 4 or a 5
The food was excellent and the place had an amazing vibe. I got the chorizo eggs Benedict and enjoyed it.
It was nice that all meals came with a skewer of fruit to start.
Our waitress was very nice and helpful.
The portion sizes were way too large, no one at the table completely finished their food. I scanned the...
Visited this place with my wife for a late brunch. We were looking for something serving Latin American food and we have found this place.
Food is good, especially the arepas. Prepared as per the original recipe, they are very tasteful and with a wide choice.
Also juices are made with fresh pulps of tropical fruits.
This accomodation has been the highlight of our holiday so far.
The service was exceptional and when you asked a question about anything the answers were complete with useful information
Breakfast was a delight, and
With the owner of the establishment
Being charming by making sure everything was alright for each person
Needless to say everything about our stay at...
The boutique hotel (only 8 rooms) is located in an upcoming neighborhood with loads of new construction/renovation going nearby. It's not far from the Mcgill University campus so crowds tend to be young and easy on the eyes.
The location is very accessible - 15 mins walk to the Notre Dame and old town, 20 min to Royal Mount Park...
We did a 5 night stay in August, along with my mother and two aunts who joined us for one night. We had to alter our travel plans at the very last minute and they were generous enough to accommodate us with our changes. Check-in was incredibly quick: we went from arriving at the front desk to being in our...
This was our first time in Montreal and we travelled from New Zealand to attend a wedding. Our travel agent recommended L'Appartement Hotel as it offered a free breakfast which was excellent. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the underground metro and 30 minute walk to Old Montreal. It was fantastic to be staying in the downtown city,...

Beautiful suite with complete kitchen. The refrigerator was larger than the one we have at home! The bathroom was pristine and high end. It included a bidet, heart shaped whirl pool tub and a unique large shower head suspended over the tub. We slept very well in the lap of luxury.
