The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.

"The perfect venue"
reviewed 4 weeks ago by A1n2thony
The perfect venue for a quadrennial lunch. 19 of us were served the most wonderful food, wine and port in the smaller Queens Room. Everybody who attended, many for the first time were very impressed by the venue.
This is a small gallery, just off Shoreditch High Street, which is free to visit. They mainly show the work of artists from under-represented groups, so there's a very good chance you'll be seeing work from artists you've never come across before. This was certainly the case on our recent visit, as we found an exhibition given over to young...
I have been shopping at SH for nearly 30 years at various sites around the area and have always had the best service. The knowledge of staff and non-judgement is a place women can shop, be themselves and get what they need. It is a safe environment
and has helped many woman enjoy themselves for many years. I cannot recommend...
Visited earlier today for a cocktail masterclass, and all left excited about the news skills we had learnt. I think that’s the biggest difference, learning how to balance drinks in general and ways we can take it home rather than one specific cocktail.
Our host was brilliant, he was so passionate and enthusiastic that it was contagious. Cannot recommend this...
The Blacklock has a relaxed, chill atmosphere that doesn't take itself too seriously. Service here is fantastic and I was impressed by every member of the staff who were pleasant and chatty the entire night through.
I had the 'All in' which is the recommended Blacklock experience, offering some pre-meal bites, a selection of chops, and a side of your...
I visited on this week with friends and was thoroughly impressed. We had starters, main, pud and cocktails all of which were delicious. The Mac and cheese bites, pork ribs, fried chicken and salted peppers were so tasty.
The staff were all very friendly and happy to help.
Had a great stay, one of my many times visited at the hotel and was served my Manuel great customer service looking forward to coming back !!
Got upgraded and had great breakfast. The pool was amazing and the room size was perfect
I want to thanks the Hoxton Shoreditch for the great experience this past weekend. In particular, I'd like to thanks Ina for the warm welcome and making the entire experience hassle-free! The Hoxton is my go-to accommodation whenever I'm visiting London.
Loved everything. I’m a particular fan of the bed sheets, mini bar and the mood of the hotel. Staff was super sweet, caring and helpful, not falling into the dangerous path of hipsterism that a lot of places in London loose with their unfriendly staff.
The bed is lovely, and the blinds are good for sleep. The shower gels are AM and PM- I liked the PM variety as it smells like something from Lush. Didn't get breakfast as it was too steep at £16/17 each
We were delighted to host an exclusive event at The Curtain in their lovely screening room. I would defintely recommend the screening room for small intimate events. The service was amazing and the staff were super helpful, our guests left thoroughly impressed!
