reviewed February 24, 2019 by VadimM67
Hufeisen means "horseshoe" in German. Architects Bruno Taut and Martin Wagner foresaw almost 100 years ago the advent of the drone era. Only the desire to visit UNESCO world heritage sites can bring a tourist here to neukeln. Hufeisen - the most interesting of the 6 objects of the Berlin modernism housing estate (Gartenstadt Falkenberg, Wohnstadt Carl Legien, the Schillerpark,...
"Historic mansion away from the central Berlin crowds"
reviewed June 3, 2019 by M G
We wanted to see something “out of the way” in Berlin, and Schloss Britz seemed interesting.
To reach the schloss via public transportation, take the U7 to Parchimer Allee. This is in the Neukolln neighborhood to the southeast of central Berlin. Leaving the station, follow Parchimer Allee (the large street) to the west, veer north at the fork in road...
Would you expect Wine from Berlin ? You should. Since 2005 a group of intrested citiziens revived a very old tradition: wine harvesting and processing in Britz. Now you can see the products of their work, and even more you can taste ist. Starting in Febuary with the traditionell first cut, everybody can participate. As soon as the weather is...

"first class food in a very nice surrounding"
reviewed November 17, 2015 by PotterUbik
you would not expect a place like this in a metropol like Berlin. The former manor house is a museum today and the place for the gardener is now a star restaurant. Enjoy delicious food, served by an engaged team and hosted by the Berlin famous Matthias Buchholz.
He was cooked at the "First floor" right in the heart of...
We had Currywurst and french fries
Currywurst was perfect - french fries good but I don't like the thick slices but that Is probably just me.
This little imbiss has a very new rustic looking outside , is really busy
The people serving are great and very friendly
prices are good and you get your belly full without being broke
Tge location for this hotel is less than ideal if you need to eat in the evening. The hotel.oniy offers breakfast and there is a very limited choice of restaurants nearby with the closest not taking care payments.
Not really the fault of this Ibis but its not cheap and I've stayed in a large number of ibis hotels.
The area around the is going through a rebuild. As there's no air con I slept with a window open. No need for an alarm as the construction work woke me every morning. The rooms are large, clean (some signs of mould in the shower) and the staff are efficient and helpful. Didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment...
Stayed for 2 night business trip. Clean basic hotel with minimal facility. Breakfast good. No air conditioning in room but had fan. Beside busy road so noisy at night. Take ear plugs. But no complaints.
