The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
After non stop museums, walking and adventures we decided on consecutive days on this beach and overall had a great time. We did go all out and spend on chairs, umbrellas that are owned by the beachside restaurants. We also ordered drinks and snacks - and yes it would be cheaper bringing your own - really? Life and short... relax,...
This is an incredible neighborhood to enjoy dining and shopping. At the end of the street is the Mediterranean- Platja de la mar Bella - much quieter than the main beach. Every store they speak English.
We stay in this area often. Far enough for the tourist trap main area to get a local vibe but close enough to walk in to the tourist bits you want to visit. We love the walk along the beach front and Poblenou la Rambla is beautiful. In summer enough hustle and bustle to give this place a real good...
The cemetery is really well maintained and signposted. The iconic "Kiss of Death" statue/headstone was particularly worth seeing.
It's a very peaceful place and contains some really beautiful, if melancholic, art.
Visited here with my boyfriend for some brunch, nice place to visit to get away from the busier end of Barcelona. Food was delicious especially the bacon bagel and cheeseburger, latte was unreal too, a nice spot to visit in Barcelona

First time I actually made an effort to write up a review, but this place really has deserved it. We bumped into it by accident after a nice stroll along the beach, it caught our attention with its nice interior, so we decided to stay for a bite. It is very common for these kind of places at the beach...

Have spent several weeks over the back end of 2017 in Barcelona for work and have sampled the tapas-style menu that is prominent at so many restaurants here in Catalunya as one would expect eating out each night.
Hands-down - the BEST dining experience I've had here to date is El 58

Wow wow wow this place is so fantastic, one guy doing all the work and doing an absolutely amazing job. The plates are also so super cool! Definitely go here! We went for the tasting menu and weren’t disappointed with any of the meals
A bit distanced by walk.
Great accommodation for long stays. Hommy and cozy.
Neat, clean, modern and quiet facility with polite and helpful staff and good breakfast.
Great internet connection.
TVs in room were a bit old.
And there was a campus accommodation nearby which was surprisingly loud and annoying.
All in all it was good. I will go there...

Booked a 3 night couples break for our Anniversary. We booked a room in The Level which are their 5* rooms on the top floors with their own private check-in area. Fabulous welcome on our arrival which was a Sunday early evening and presented with a glass of bubbly and some sweets which was very nice after the journey.
I like this hotel because it is only a short walk to the beach and it’s away from the busy tourist area of La Rambla (it’s only a short taxi ride to get there). For me this is a big plus. The hotel is very modern. The rooms are on the small side, but clean and very functional. The hotel...
"Good for families with lots of noisy kids...not so good for couples."

This is a nice modern hotel, only 4 stops from central Barcelona and walking distance to the beach. We hadn't counted on school holidays when booking and the hotel was like creche. The worst thing was breakfast with kids all over the buffet, playing with the coffee machines...having a great time but with adults standing behind waiting to get a...
