Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced, collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping spot where the major Spanish clothing and department store chains are less busy than their downtown counterparts, and there is an array of casual dining options to choose from. Check out nearby outdoor spaces such as the lushly planted Plaza de España to the south, which is often filled with craft stalls. To the west of Arguelles is the giant Parque Oueste, a calm and picturesque park with its own Egyptian temple.
Something everywhere you look. This family was over the top but it was interesting. We have elderly family with us and the staff was accommodating with the lift to get them form one floor to the other. We learned a lot about the armor collection. But the best thing was when my mother-in-law kept telling me she would not want...

Located near the Plaza Espana and Temple de Debod. This is a tall neo-baroque style building due to be converted into a hotel in the near future.
Built in the early 1950s it was seen as a 'symbol of prosperity' in Franco's Spain.
What an experience! 17 courses- a journey of tastes, textures, colours, smells and mouth explosions. The setting is minimalist but very stylish. Every dish, bowl plate, board, marble and piece of cutlery has been considered. I won’t spoil the surprises that await your visit. Just go, eat brilliant modern food and enjoy the delightful and attentive service.
I was looking for a nice place to have some Spanish food in the evening. I found this place and it seemed a bit small and bar like, however I went in and was warmly welcomed. Although they didn't have a table avialble for me as I hadn't reserved, I was offered to sit near the bar. I thought I...
you look for when you cant stand stuffy, overpriced inauthentic tourist traps..cool staff, relaxed atmosphere, tasty tapas and craft brews and a bit out of the way..so psyched to find these places still exist!..please keep it that way!
Went there to try the rooster comb! Had an amazing dinner (alone). Had the gourmet menu. All the dishes were good. Especially the oyster, deer shabu shabu and the rooster comb. Save room for dessert... there’s a dessert cart with a very interesting “drunk” cake!
Excellent hotel, well located in central Madrid. Staff very friendly and service was excellent.
Our room was spacious and modern with king size bed and a large bathroom with separate shower and bath.
Buffet breakfast had excellent selection and quality.
Would highly recommend this hotel.
This time we stayed on the back side and it proved to be just about silent. Suites Viena is located in a convenient location for the West side of Madrid tourist spots. It is a bit of a hike over to the major museums but an enjoyable jaunt if you use one route over and another back. All the employees...
We went to Madrid for a weekend and was really nice everything in the hotel! Nice service, nice food, clean room, confortable, very good for families with children, near the center, easy taxi service, 25 min from the airport, recomendable for everybody, many restaurants around there but also restaurant inside the hotel❤️👌
We stayed in this hotel for three nights. The locatuon was perfect, the room and the hotel was very clean and neat, the room space more than adequate, buffet breakfast was rich enough. In short a very pleasant stay at a convenient price. We would go again.
We booked this due to its central location (and proximity to a metro station) and the fact that it had a small kitchen & living room with the benefits of a hotel.
We didn't arrive until 1.30 a.m. so were very grateful that there was a 24 hour reception.
It is set in a quiet location - near to the...
