Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced, collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping spot where the major Spanish clothing and department store chains are less busy than their downtown counterparts, and there is an array of casual dining options to choose from. Check out nearby outdoor spaces such as the lushly planted Plaza de España to the south, which is often filled with craft stalls. To the west of Arguelles is the giant Parque Oueste, a calm and picturesque park with its own Egyptian temple.
This is a very small Egyptian temple, which is quite the unique sight in such a relatively modern city. It was transported here stone by stone to avoid flooding and its sure destruction when they built dams and canals in Egypt.
We were unable to purchase tickets on-line in advance so arrived early and waited in a short queue. It's definitely worth the visit to see this amazing former private residence, complete with furnishings, artwork etc. Intimate and extraordinary.
Two of Madrid's most iconic skyscrapers are located in Plaza de Espana in central Madrid, at the western end of the Gran Via Street.
Torre de Madrid measures 142 meters in height, has 36 floors and was constructed between 1954 and 1957. From 2017 Barcelo Hotel has been in the lower part of the building.

Tonight I went to this wonderfull restaurant with friends whithout really knowing what I should expect... I just knew that it was good. Now I know that Enklima is not a "restaurant", it is a temple where everybody can feel that is travelling around the world "discovered or not" seating on a table. As an head chef, I must say...
Not an extended menu but each course was exquisite in flavor and finesse.
The sepia's mini burgers were my favorite.
I will definitely come again!
Since it is a small venue, reservation is highly recommended.
Truly out of this world. Every dish was absolutely exquisite, the presentation was stunning, the service - impeccable and the experience, phenomenal. We took the private room with a large window watching the kitchen which was amazing. Chef Jose Fuentes is a genius. Will definitely be back and fully worthy of its M stars 👌🏻🌟🌟

It was our first stay and we loved everything about it. The location was great, the staff was wonderful and extremely friendly and helpful. No language barrier, they spoke English very well. The rooms have everything you need. We wouldn't stay anywhere else when we go to Madrid again!
Right at the heart of Madrid, with an excellent service and attention to guests by all member of staff and good restaurants and tourist attractions nearby. Good Wi-Fi connection, which was important for me as I was there in Madrid on a business trip.

Had 4 night stay in this hotel and would definitely return. The hotel is very modern and the room we had was a great size. Rooms and hotel are spotlessly clean. Location is great and we used the metro to get to and from airport as well as to explore a bit further afield during our stay. Lots to do...
