If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
Me and my friends were in Stockholm for a weekend and the most memorable thing we did was riding the waterbikes. The water is really clean in Stockholm so you can just jump right in. One of my friends had sneakers and jeans on and he didn't get wet, so basically you can use the waterbikes for classic sightseeing or...
"One of the best massages I have had in a long time"
reviewed 3 February 2015 by Jetsetrose
I visit Spas on a regular basis and have had massages all over the world. The therapists at Thann Sanctuary are one of the best I have been to. This place was recommended by friends and we were not disappointed.
I believe they belong to the Thann Spa chain which has spas all over the world.
The atmosphere itself is...

"Good food but quite noisy"
reviewed 8 October 2017 by KLF95
We were here on a Friday night. Didn't reserve, and were still seated fairly quickly. The food was good, and for a capital city it seemed reasonably priced (not inexpensive). We didn't order wine though: they had an extensive and I'm sure amazing wine list, but not in our budget. The waiter did seem less helpful once he realized we...
We were there in the middle of the week and the place was pretty full. But luckily we got a table very quickly even though we hadn't any reservations.
The restaurant has 2 buildings and we got a table in the other building.
They have a large tapas choice and we tried several and all were delicious.
Fair prices as...

"True Austrian Food and Beverages"
reviewed 8 February 2018 by Herwig S
As Austrian living in Sweden this was ther first time I have experienced real authentic Austrian food and drinks in Stockholm or let me expand the experience to Sweden. Excellent taste, big portions as Austrians like, good service, fair prices, the only improvement area is that both the lists of food and beverages are quite short. But rather short and...
Clean and cozy rooms. Not super big if thats what you're looking for.
They have a nice breakfast spread and the service is great too.
Well located place with Gamla Stan being a 20 minute walk away. Good value for money.
Didn't know what to expect but turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable 2-night stopover. It even has a small museum!
The room, formerly a cell, was well appointed and very clean although the beds weren't the most comfortable I have ever experienced.
One notable point was how quiet the place was. Lovely.
The room was very private, overlooking the...
Stockholm as a city is quiet expensive for overnight stays, therefore we were lucky to find this solution for a family. The only downside with this hostel are indeed the sleeping rooms, which could be reviewed for a better quality by the management. But besides this, the service was very good, the hostel is very clean. Food was ok, and...
