The Natural Hisyory Museum in Vienna is a great place to spend a few hours. It is a lit bigger than expected and covers a few floors. There is a great collection of minerals, meteorites, animals etc. The building itself is beautiful and there is a cafe at the top of the building. Well worth a visit.
In such a beautiful setting there is so much to see. The architecture alone is so impressive. Then you are surrounded by so much art and history you will find it difficult th choose what to visit first. Allow at least 2 days to really absorb. Look up what is available and select what you would like to visit if...

Quite a nice monument in the middle of the Maria-Theresien Square. It is located in between the two museums on either side.
There are 4 horsemen on the corners and a plaque and statue on each side. The statue itself faces towards the Burgator and Hofburg.
There is just a lot of things to see here as you walk around...

We booked a table at Zu Ebener Erde Und Erster Stock and the proprietor confirmed the menu provided gluten free food and it was a short walk from our hotel. We had a cosy table for four in the corner and the proprietor explained the...
Once again, while in Vienna, we met friends at Glacis Beisl for a delightful dinner. The mixed Austrian / Continental menu seemed good for everyone in our group, the Austrian wine list was great and service and ambiance were first rate. The staff is typically multi-lingual, as we heard German, English and French around us. It's tourist friendly but NOT...
This is located right outside Mumok. Nice to have a restaurant with a good menu to dine in right after a long visit to the museum. We got 2 dishes— the pulled pork sandwich and hummus with beef. Both good!
"Nice athmosphere during daytime and in the evening"

Sitting by the windows looking down to Mariahilferstraße is very nice. Lutz offers amazing breakfast, als well as very good dinner and lunch (burgers, cub sandwich, different bowls). The staff is very attentive. We also love coming here in the evening, when the bar has a very athomspheric illumination. Very nice place for relaxing after shopping or visiting the Museums.
