With a variety of outdoor attractions, the sophisticated harbour suburb of Mosman has something for everyone. Shoppers can stroll Military Road for its unique offering of antiques, designer labels, and hip restaurants and cafes. Nature lovers can take in spectacular bushwalks like the Taronga to Balmoral walk, while families can enjoy snorkeling in the sheltered beaches of Balmoral Beach or scuba diving at Chowder Bay. History lovers enjoy exploring the fortifications at the end of Old Fort Road in Middle Head, which date back to the 1800s. Even the exhibitionist set can find entertainment in Mosman, with several nude beaches located in the area.
We are from California and it is hard to compete against the zoo in San Diego. But the sweeping views of Stanley Harbor make this one of the most spectacular zoos we have visited.
It was a warm sunny bright day. There is a lot of walking. It is uphill and downhill. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, a hat,...
This is a beautiful spot that has somehow managed to fly under the radar. I've lived in Sydney my entire life and only heard about this place about 5 years ago.
The beach doesn't have any waves, so it's perfect for young families and those wanting a relaxing dip. The whole area is stunningly beautiful. There is a huge park...
"Great for picnic, swimming, snorkelling and fishing"

If you want to get a picnic spot with table and roofs, there are only 4 picnic tables available. There are lots of tables around the grounds without the roof too and plenty of space if you don't mind sitting on the grass. The parking is $5/hr or if you're staying more than 5 hours its $20 from 8am to...
Mosman Gallery is a lovely gallery featuring many interesting exhibitions throughout the year. The art is always well presented and its a very pleasant place to walk around and appreciate the art - a very nice place to visit !
"Nice park under normal circumstances but not the place for NYE fireworks"

Watching the fireworks in Sydney is not the simplest thing to plan. The fireworks are world famous and millions of people come along to watch them. People queue the whole day for the Botanic gardens to grab a small space to sit down for hours and hours of waiting.
We planned to be in Sydney for this event, but we...
Delightful evening out. We shared tapas between four adults, and despite there being a large delay (1 hour) from first two tapas dishes to the remaining 4 dishes, the food was lovely. As we were happy chatting , it didn’t matter too much. The wait staff were fine; some of their banter made me a little uncomfortable (“you are doing...
This is where you take your parents or interstate and international visitors, it's a really special place historically and for what it has become. Do High Tea or Lunch, your visitors will be blown away.
The location and outlook is very Beverly Hills (USA). Very classy. The product is fresh and high grade. Coffee is strong as they are Italian. Customer service is typically European, a little flat faced and a bit of a leer at you but they dont know anything different. Prices are acceptable considering the suburb.
