The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
I love this place so much I bought the annual pass for $50. A stress-free garden a world away from the noise of the city. It's the perfect tranquillity to practice mindfulness. The cafe serves excellent food at affordable prices.
My mum and I went here a little while ago. We had a lot of fun with dress ups, and photo opportunities! It was a lot more up close and interactive than I originally thought! Most of the wax figures look very realistic! I recommend this for families with children over the age of 7.

This zoo is right within the heart of Sydney Darling Harbour. Convenient with public transport access. Suitable for all age category. Takes approximately 45 minutes to complete the visit. Don't forget to get out at Kangaroo hut and take some close memories.
Tip: Don't buy the solo entry thicket, it is way much expensive. Try bundle passes with 3 or...

I love Aquariums...I felt well when we started the tour...Loved the tunnels...but there is quite a bit of walking up and down ramps which I did not expect. Also, did not appear to be any security or way to get out when I started having a problem breathing. Because of the heat and all the water... the humidity was very...
I liked the Pyrmont Bridge. It is dedicated for walkers and bikers. We had some great views, a bonus.
It connects both sides of the Darling harbor. At the end we either chose the stairs or an escalator.
I enjoyed my time here. It was so peaceful and I had my walk.
Worthwhile to try!
Great pricing with a substantial menu for both Lunch and dinner. The food is exceptional and portions good and enables you to take advantage of the entre main course and dessert option for both lunch and dinner.
I love malayasian food but it is impossible to find in the USA, so I seek it out when traveling. The Malaya came highly recommended by locals and it surpassed all expectations. It's a nice mx of Malayasian, Singaporean, Chinese and some Indian, so sure to appeal to just about everyone.
It is a really nice discovery, this steakhouse well located open but covered ( that is great , can eat outside without the inconvenient of being outside). The welcome is very warm. Booking has been made by phone and the table was waiting from us. The waiters are endorsing and professional. The menu is very interesting as the restaurant gives...
I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in March for a conference at the Sydney ICC. It’s proximity to the ICC and Sofitel brand was the reason for staying there.
The hotel is relatively new and the rooms definitely reflect it. I was fortunate to stay in a suite with a lovely view of Darling Harbour. The room...
We have just stayed at Adina Apartments for 4 nights while visiting Sydney. This is an ideal location on Darling Harbour. Our room on the 6th floor had a balcony that looked down onto Darling Harbour....not a full view but could also people watch. Room 107. Very clean and tidy apartment which has everything you need for self catering if...
