Worth the visit and near the Tin Hau subway station (exit A1). Very beautiful roof structure and quite historic ie over 200 years old. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess of Seafarers. No charge to enter and need 20-25 minutes.
Today, we went to a great Vietnamese restaurant located at Tin Hau - Chao Chao. We didn't plan to go there, but it caught my eyes when I walked pass. The interior design of the restaurant is pretty hipster - the neon light and graphic on the wall made its stand that they want the restaurant to be cool.
If you are looking for a price-point that's pocket friendlier than Ksm's then head on to Ki's for your goose and rice meal.
I found the goose gamier than Kam's but it still flavorful.
Service is fast. We were in and out there no more than 30 mins even though the place is full.
Texas Burger was located near my hotel, and when one of the people I was meeting with in HK said she really liked the restaurant, I had to try it. (Also I had just hiked Dragon's Back all the way to Big Wave and was enormously hungry, and a burger really sounded good at the time.) The restaurant is quite...
The desserts are sweet and refreshing. They specialise particularly on mango desserts, and there are two sampler sets that are not bad, though the portions have dwindled somewhat.
They have also switched to serving snacks such as chicken wings and carrot cakes though I would give these a miss as they are not very good.
There are a couple of...
Spent a week there during the COVID-19 outbreak, so anything but normal circumstances in HK and neighborhood. Still an exceptionally good vacation in this awesome city. The lack of lines in tourist spots made up for other restrictions like closed museums. The location of L'hotel is perfect, Causeway Bay great for an evening stroll and Victoria Park very lovely indeed....
Best selling point of this hotel is definitely the rooftop pool and gym facilities with a view of the park. Stayed for work and it was convenient to get to the MTR. Breakfast buffet had a variety of Western and Chinese choices. Great value overall!
This hotel feels more like a service apartment so expect a kitchen, decent amount of space but you will not be waited on hand and foot by the concierge and for that price that is fair enough. I would recommend getting a room on a floor above floor 26 so you will be above the ugly block of flats which...
1. Location - Near MTR station (Tin Hau) and near Victoria Park
2. Easy accessible via MRT, Tram and bus
3. Lobby smells great!
4. Accommodating from desk
5. Good view on upper floors
Not so good:
We stayed here for 4 days but on our 3 day they didn't clean our room. After a long day from Macau...
"Great little spot tucked away from the madding throngs"

This is a great spot to stay while in Hong Kong. The hotel is near Causeway and is about six minutes walk to the metro and a short taxi ride to central or ferry at Wan Chai.
If you want taxis to Kowloon side then you may have a wait. In this case get to the main road near the...
