The Sha Tin Racecourse at Penfold Park is one of two racecourse in Hong Kong managed by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. The other is Happy Valley on Hong Kong Island. I have never been to a dining establishment as this in Hong Kong so I thought I would give it a go after reading reviews here and on Google.

Attentive service. Some areas of the restaurant is relatively dark.Set lunch was average. Beef cheeks was very tender but not a usual combination with cranberries and the sauce was average. The fish was drowned in a mushroom broth. Crab cakes had a decorative amount of salad so don't be deceived that you would get a decent amount of greens.
Just need to order a beer, you may enjoy a buffet of 12 types of different German sausages, hams, cheese and salad bar with HKD$98.
