Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.

We visited after we had hawker chan's chicken rice. We were looking for dessert after lunch and discovered that Maxwell Food Centre offers a variety of foods. We ended up getting a few dishes to share along with some drinks and dessert. You won't be disappointed.
Once again we were bluffed by Meta’s food, team and ambiance. Restaurant was quite packed on a Friday night. Any single dish was just perfect. Definitely go for the wine pairing which is out of the path but complement perfectly the dishes! These guys know what they are doing! Huge thank to all of you!
The food is always changing and spectacular. Infact, the staff takes the trouble to remember and/or ask what you had the last time to ensure you have something different if your visits are too close to each other.
The wine selection is always great.
Always a winner. they are not on par with the other one Michelin restaurants- they should...
Had went for lunch with a good Friend, order lunch experience set menu.. the food was well presented, very fresh and tasty. Every dishes was well explain by the Chef. It was a great and wonderful experience.
A very pretty gem tucked away on Tras Street - warm service, open kitchen where the magic happens, and excellent presentation and flavor. Great for casual yet excellent dinners, plush enough for business lunches.
Very good location, right next to the Maxwell Hawker Center and Chinatown. An easy walk to the Chinatown underground station, and there was a bus stop just around the corner..The hotel is old but has been refurbished.
Right across. From the subway.. Iso you will not need to pay for cabs! In China town.. Rooms are VERY small.. But why stay in your room when you. Can. go,out on the town! GOod choice if You. Are just going to stay a day or two
This hotel is very close to Outram Road MRT Station so easy to get to from Changi Airport. It is also on the edge of Chinatown so easy to wander round the quaint shop-houses on 5ft way.
Rooms here are small but very serviceable. All have AC and wifi which works well. TVs and safes in all rooms and friendly...
