Saint Basil’s Cathedral was built by the order of Ivan The Terrible in the 16th century. You will see it immediately when you approach the Red Square, day or night! The architecture and colors are striking and very unique. There is even a legend that the tsar ordered to blind the architect so he will not be able to recreate...
There is so much to take in the first time, so just explore. And it will be free! Then you can tour St. Basel Cathedral and/or inside the Kremlin next time. Stroll through GUM department store as well. Prices are high, but there are some souvenir shops that are reasonaly priced, since it is not at the airport. Metro stops...

"Great to see so good place in the center of Moscow"
reviewed 3 weeks ago by JoaoPiscoPorto
We choose the place trough Tripadvisor because found it on the 4-th place all Moscow's restaurant. We expected expensive prices and bad services like it all around Russia, but it was definitely not. Amazing food and very chip prices, nice service and we found very rare thing in Russia, we found smiles. Highly recommend.
Loved this place! We made a reservation online for dinner. Very convenient. When we came it was packed. The restaurant is tiny but cozy and cool - sort of a hot spot. Fabulous decor and good vibes! They screen Georgian old movies on two tv sets and play mostly Georgian music. I liked that. The service was a little bit...
I felt really lucky to have found this place while researching. It was, by far, thr best experience I had in a restaurant. I loved the decor, a really nice vibe. Felt just like a member of royalty with the treatment and service from Diana. She was just the best and I cannot describe it in words. She was caring,...
Splendid building, convenient location, diligent and friendly staff - what else does one need when in Moscow? All the attractions of the city center are nearby, including Bolshoi Theater and an excellent restaurant Bolshoi just behind the theater. It's a rather expensive spot, but the quality of service and the food worth it.
So close to the red square is unique and much appreciated!
Personal and.service top. SPA of very high quality, swimming pool amazing
Breakfast excellent, except the breakfast restaurant, with no view outside, too bad!
The St Regis is a very comfortable hotel. The location is wonderful. You can easily walk to many of the main attractions e.g. Bolshoi Theatre, Red Square etc. The staff are wonderful. Everyone is very helpful and attentive. There is a 24 hour butler service available so I was able to have my outfit pressed to attend the opera at...
Excellent hotel from all aspects.
Best location and amazing staff
Delicious and variety food
Everything is just perfect
Rooms are very clean and amenities are perfect
You can never find similar hotel easily
I stayed in this beautiful hotel in January.
I picked this hotel because of the beautiful architecture and because of its history.
I think it is so much nicer to stay in a hotel with a story than in a chain of hotels as it makes me feel more connected to the place I am visiting.
The service is impeccable...
