Consolação lies between the old historical centre of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighbourhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
With 76.340 m², the Consolação Cemetery is the first necropolis of the city of São Paulo and a reference in the field of funerary art. WITHIN IT, are scattered not only some of the most important figures highlighted in Brazilian history, but also exposed, in the tombs, some of the most beautiful and significant works of the most famous and...
This small "park" used to house a mansion in the days when Avenida Paulista was residential and favored by millionaire coffee planters. The mansion itself was demolished a long time ago and this place was used as a car park until the park was set up a few years ago. Thank goodness, it was not turned into one of the...

With an interesting menu, Mestiço is a traditional restaurant with very tasty food, I personally enjoy asking for a couple entries and then sharing a main dish. Perfect way to have a chance to taste different dishes!
So cool! This is a 24 hours open place in centre of SP where you get the most amazing PERNIL sandwiches (pulled-pork) for approximately 20 reals! Served in 5 minutes. Crowd goes from popular to hipsters. Ananas Pernil is amazing!

The location is fantastic. Few meters from avenida paulista. Many restaurants and bars near around so you can find easily a place to eat and/or drink.
The room is huge but noisy. I was on the 10th floor just below the gym so heard every one who used the treadmills.
Take a lower floor and far a way from the...
Good located, small but comfortable rooms, housekeeping should improve (leaving some amenities opened bags). TV without big selection of channels and internet speed does not meet expectations. Breakfast very good.
"Average or Below Hotel - Poor Service and Rubbish Breakfast"

This is NOT a 4 star hotel.
For starters, the service the front of house staff provide is below par. Several instances where I had to communicate with the front of house staff cropped up.
Firstly - the room was NOT cleaned the second day I stayed. When I approached the FoH staff about this, they insisted the room had...
This hotel has a good price for what it offers. It is centrally located, gotta say that Sao Paulos downtown is not the best place to stay though. Hotel room was cozy (but keep windows closed cause it's noisy outside). Hotel manager, Henri, was really nice and helpful.

We stayed here 2 months in three different type of suites. Each of then we rented private from Sr. Jose Claudio Policastro. He is really a great host. Always attentive, very polite and always time for a nice conversation. Also he helped us with some minor problems in our flats.
The housekeeping works very efficient.
Also there is a really...
