With the ever-changing landscape in India, while many historic places may get hidden behind new structures they still remain relevant amongst locals. This temple built in 1764 is a good example of such coexistence.
Now easily visible from the monorail station opposite the Chembur Fine Arts, this is a quaint temple complex dating back centuries. The fact that it was...

reviewed February 26, 2020 by Sangeetha A
During July'19, myself along with my hubby, parents & in laws got to visit Dhakleshwar Shiva temple, which was located adjacent to Mahalakshmi mandir.
It is one of the oldest temple in Mumbai. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Mahadeva with his consort Goddess Parvati & his sons - Lord Ganesha & Lord Subramanya.
Temple architecture was extremely...
Pot Pourri is a restaurant with a great Indian cuisine situated at Cubic Mall in Chembur❤
It has a huge sitting arrangement there with a good ambience and dim lights💡 and also with music playing around there but as I was lucky🎸 we got to listen few songs🎼 which was sang by a singer🎤 present at that time over there🎶...
Located in the hustle bustle of city life, this place offers a place where you could take a seat comfortably and enjoy authentic dishes.
Service is good.
One of the dishes was prepared with thorned brinjal variety. The spices were excellent to taste, may be the brinjal itself could have a lesser leathery bite.
Excellent food, quick service, casual and comfortable ambience is all what made up Le Cafe. This was suggested by a friend and even though I was a little skeptical, Le Cafe did not disappoint at all. Will surely visit again when I get a chance.
Ordered from india bistro worli. The packaging was leak-proof, food was too good.
Railway Mutton Curry-
The gravy was creamy and mutton cooked to perfection.
Ghee roast Mutton Boti
The original chicken & Laal murgi- 5/5
With garlic naan- The taste was like a home-made food and less oily.
For starters Chicken tikka is a good option.
I had a very decent experience with The Fern hospitality last year at Goa, so I decided to go with the same in Mumbai too. We checked in on 14th of March with our two kids, and could hardly roam about to the gateway and marine drive. Next day, due to climbing cases of covid-19, entire Mumbai was locked down....
This is my favourite restaurant and bar. Food preparation is good. Good place to find vegetarian as well as non vegetarian food. Variety of Indian breads, fresh vegetables, non veg platter..
Preparation is very good.
Hotel in nice and located near to local station and market. Breakfast options are limited but served with fresh fruits. Sometimes there is delay in service and it matters when you are in hurry. Overall experience is good.
The hotel is very cozy. It has a dining table a study table and an attached bathroom. Very worth it for the price. Only thing is that breakfast is not free so and they don't prepare their own food, they bring it from a nearby restaurant and if u prefer any restaurant nearby then u can prescribe them and and hey...
Decent rooms, with parking space, which is very difficult to find in that area.
Excellent restaurant, with bar, which can be used only by house guests.
Certain dishes, like their Pudina Machi, Butter Chicken,Paneer Palak, is worth a try.
The place used to be my extended kitchen for nearly fifteen years when i used to stay in Chembur.
